Violet:

I sit on our pier taking in the beautiful lake as the wind whips my hair every which way. It's a beautiful morning and I couldn't keep myself inside.

"You're up early." I hear from behind me. I turn around to see Grayson with two coffee cups in hand. I chuckle at his statement. I guess it is a little early.

"I made you some coffee." He says as he plops down next to me. I take the cup from him with a smile. "Thank you." I mutter.

I take a sip from the warm liquid and it taste exactly how I like it. "Cream and sugar right?" He ask as he waits for my reaction. "Right." I chuckle.

I set the cup down in front of my crossed legs. "It's so beautiful here." I smile as I feel the sun beaming down on me.

Grayson:

I can't take my eyes off of her as she takes in her surroundings. A part of me wants to mention last night but another part of me just wants to wait for her to bring it up.

"It's beautiful here." She smiles. "Not as beautiful as you." I smile. God, that was bad. She just chuckle as I take in her pink cheeks.

"Thanks Gray." She mutters, taking a sip from the coffee I made her.

Here goes Nothing because I find myself not being able to keep my mouth shut.

"No seriously. You're breathtaking." I add. She looks down at her cup and I know she's blushing. "You deserve better than what Ethan did to you and I'm here to give you that." I admit all the things that I've wanted to say for the longest time.

She's looking at me now, fully engaged in all the words leaking from my mouth. "I wish I would've asked you out first. You would have never had to go through this. I would've been there every step of the way." I ramble.

"You have been here ever step of the way." She says flatly. "And I plan on staying for all of it. I want to be here for you even when the baby is born. I want you to stay with me. I want to give you the life you deserve." I gush. She takes her bottom lip between her teeth and I know she's thinking.

"Grayson I-" my confidence grows as I cut her off with a kiss. I try and give her everything I can with just this kiss.

As we pull away both of our chest are heaving up and down and I can't take my eyes off hers. I don't want to take my eyes off of her.

I wait for her to say something. All I want is for her to say something. Good or bad, I need a response.

She doesn't say anything all she does is connect our lips again in a lingering peck. "Let me take care of you." I murmur.

She laces her fingers into my hair as a small smile plays on her lips. "I wouldn't want anything else." She says barely above a whisper which causes a large smile to play on my face.

I give her another quick peck because I love the feeling she's giving me right now. I never want it to go away.

"I've wanted to be with you for a while now." She admits. At least I know now that I wasn't the only one with these feelings.

"We wasted all this time not being together." I blurt knowing that no one else would give me this feeling.
