Violet:

I was sleeping peacefully until a sharp contraction rippled through my body. I shoot up in bed and groan in pain.

Grayson doesn't wake up. He's always been one of the heaviest sleepers I know.

I begin to shake him. I know for a fact I need to go to the hospital now.

"What baby?" Grayson groans in his groggy sleepy voice. "I think I need to go to the hospital." I say some What frantically. This gives him a spurt of energy and causes him to wake up instantly.

"Okay oaky. Let me get my clothes on." He says jumping out of bed and throwing sweats and a shirt on. He scurried around the room and slips into his shoes.

"I'll grab your shoes." He says quickly. He disappears into the closet and comes right back out with a pair of my vans in hand.

He doesn't even ask if I want help. He just shoves the shoes on with no hesitation. He helps me up. "Are you okay to walk to the car?" He ask quickly. I swear he's more frantic than. I am.

"Yeah I got it. Just go get the keys." I say waving him off. He runs down the stairs as I follow him in my own pace.

I hear the keys jingle once I hit the last step. He watches me closely to make sure I'm okay. "Let's go." I manage to mutter as another contraction rips through my body.

He swings the front door open and allows me to walk out. He closes the door behind us and unlocks the car.

He jogs over to my side and helps me into the car. "Thanks." I mutter as I slip into the seat and fasten myself in with shaky hands.

I'm so nervous. What if this is a bad thing? What if there's something wrong with the baby?

Grayson climbs into the drivers seat and starts the car. He's quick to pull out of he driveway.

"Hey it's okay. You don't have to drive like a maniac." I reassure him as I place my hand over his hand that sits on the gear shift.

He's breathing heavy just like I am but for a different reason. He's probably scared whereas I'm in the weirdest pain I've experienced in my entire life.

He just grips the steering wheel as he focuses hard on the road. I try and relax the whole time but I'm never able to.

As he swings into the hospital parking lot he finds the first empty spot and is quick to turn the car off and jump out. He jogs over to my side and practically lifts me out.

I insist on walking into the hospital but he grips my hand the whole way. As we reach the doors I let out a relieved sigh because we've finally made it.

"We need a doctor." Grayson blurts as we step in. The lady at the front desk has wide eyes as she takes in my bump and my painful looking face.
