Violet:

"We don't have any milk." Grayson groans throwing his head back. "We don't have much of anything." I chuckle.

It seems as if we haven't stocked up our cabinets in forever. Neither of us have left the house considering I work at home and he does his video stuff that he always did with Ethan.

"I can go shopping." He shrugs. I raise my eyebrows at him. "I'm not letting you go by yourself. We'd have nothing but fruit and junk food." I chuckle. He laughs along with me due to the truth of it all.

"I guess you could come with me." He rolls his eyes causing me to cross my arms over my chest. "I'm just kidding." He says throwing his hands up.

"Let me go get my jacket and my shoes." I say quickly. "Hurry up!" He shouts after me. "You're not supposed to rush women especially pregnant ones!" I shout back causing him to bust out laughing in the kitchen.

This is the most I've been able to joke around and laugh since Ethan left. It feels nice.

I slip my jacket on and zip it up tightly because I know it's bound to be chilly. It always tends to be around this time in Jersey.

I slip on my basic black vans and run my fingers through my hair with a sigh. Ever since morning sickness has plagued my life I haven't had the energy to do anything with myself.

I jog down the stairs to see Grayson with his keys in hand. "You know I was kidding when I said to hurry right?" He grins due to me jogging down the stairs.

"Shut up. Let's go." I roll my eyes.

"What all do we need?" He ask as we step out of the house. "Everything." I chuckle.

We both climb into the car and he's quick to take control of the radio which I don't mind. He's always had good taste in music.

He pulls out of the drive and I lean back in my seat. It feels good to get out of the house. I almost feel trapped inside from time to time.

Grayson focuses on the road the whole time which causes the ride to be quiet except for the music. He's never been one to talk much while driving.

He pulls into the parking lot of the store and I unbuckle my seatbelt as he looks for a parking space.

"Right there." I say pointing to an empty spot. "It's too far." He mutters while he continues to look. "Are you scared to walk or something?" I joke. "No but don't your feet bother you if you walk a lot." He says glancing at me.

This shocks me. I definitely didn't think Ethan was listening to me when I was complaining about that let alone Grayson. My feet only recently started bothering me.

"Yeah they do actually." I stammer. "Then I'll find a spot close to the door since we're gonna do a lot of walking in the store anyway." He shrugs.

"Thank you." Is all I manage to say.

AN:

This book is most definitely gonna be on the fluffy side because Grayson just seems so mushy.

I'm still sick though. I'm fully convinced I'm gonna be sick for the rest of my life.
