Violet:
It's been a couple of weeks since we took our cabin trip and things between Grayson and I are perfect. Well except for the small arguments over what to name the baby.
We can't seem to find a name we both like and his opinion seems to matter to me more than anyone else's.
"Woah. Holy shit." I mutter as I lay in bed and grab my bump. "What is it?" Grayson ask wide eyed as he sits up in bed.
"She's kicking." I smile with excitement. The feelings so foreign but it's a warm feeling. My baby is healthy and it makes my heart flutter.
Grayson sits still as he watches me flinch at the movements every once in a while. I can't help but grab his hand and place it right where she's doing all the kicking and moving.
"Wow." Grayson sighs in amazement. "She must be excited." He chuckles. She is moving a lot. Usually she moves just a tiny bit and quits but this is different.
The nurse did say once I hit 6 months I'll experience this so I've been expecting it.
Grayson shifts and positions himself right between my legs so his face is even with my bump. His large hands wonder across my stomach and send chills down my spine.
"Hey baby." He mutters which causes the baby to give another kick. He laughs a little due to the baby's reaction but he's quick to say something else. "Don't get too excited. You'll hurt mommy." He says between chuckles which causes me to laugh.
"I can't wait to see you. Mommy's excited too." He continues to talk in hopes that he'll soothe the baby or get another reaction out of her.
"I know you're gonna be beautiful just like your mom." He smiles as he glances up at me through his eyelashes.
My cheeks are beyond warm. This whole situation sends the butterflies in my stomach on a frenzy.
He sits up as the baby begins to calm down. He takes his seat next to me yet again. "What if I were to put your name on the birth certificate as the father?" I blurt.
The thought has been flying through my head ever since I found out I had feelings for Grayson. He's been here for me when Ethan hasn't.
"Are you sure you'd wanna do that?" He ask wide eyed. "If you don't want me to I won't. It's just I figured it'd be best considering I have no clue where her real father is." I gush as I sit to face him because of the seriousness of the conversation.
His warm hand finds my cheeks as he rubs his thumb across it. "Id Love for you to do that but do you think you'd be lying to your daughter?" He ask bringing this to my attention.
I've never thought of it that way. I don't want to lie to her but I also don't want her to be confused as to why Grayson's here.
"I'd explain things to her once she got older. I just know you're what's best for her." I admit. He has a big smile plastered on his face.
"I'll always be here." He murmurs and presses a warm kiss to my lips.
