Someday

You use your words like knifes just to take me down,
You wear your smile like a crown,
You've pushed me off again,
Like I was nothing but a sin,
Even when I'm already hurting,
You try your best to make me feel like nothing,
You just pick on the weak;

Now you can put me down,
And make me frown,
But there's something you don't know;

That someday I'll be greater than you'll ever be,
Someday I'll be strong, you'll see,
Because I'll find lice for me,
And you're still going to be mean,
Someday I can't wait for you all to see,
The change in me;

You can put me out onto the other side,
And spit out your lies,
Unlike you, I have nothing to hide,
Because I know that,
Someday I'll be big,
And it's something you won't be able to "dig",
Someday I'll be able to wear a smile everyday,
Because I was able to find my own way;

Someday I'll chose not to listen to the things you throw at me,
I'm going to be who I set out to be,
I don't need your opinions,
Because I got my own,
And they're better than what you've known;

Someday I'll be on top of the world,
And you'll still probably be at the bottom,
Hurting someone else who will soon be heard,
Someday I'll do something great,
While you hide among the shadows with your hate,
And you'll be hoping I get taken down one day,
Someday you may see me for who I am,
And maybe, you'll choose to love me for what I am,
One day is someday,
And someday I can't wait for you all to see the change in me;
