Hard Days and Long Nights

Listen baby, I've had hard days and long nights,
So don't tell me I don't understand you,
When I know exactly what you've been through,

But when I look around, I know everything's gonna be alright;

I've had to run around looking like a fool,
Baby, I try too hard not lose my cool,
I've had to work around the clock,
Wishing someone was around so we can talk;
