Hold Me Tight

It's all coming back to me now,
I can remember the pain somehow,
My life flashes before my eyes,
And my heart just dies;

Yet everyone is smiling,
And they're laughing,
They try to push me away,
To the point where I can't understand,
Why someone won't just stay;

I wish someone would hold me tight,
To tell me everything will be alright,
I'm gazing at the stars,
Feeling the beat of my lonely heart,
I don't want to be alone,
So will you find me?;

I know when I let it out,
I can't help but cry and shout,
At the things I cannot hide,
From the fears I leave inside;

When it gets me,
I don't know how I can just 'let it be',
I wish I could make it disappear;

I wish for someone to hold me tight,
And to tell me everything will be alright,
If you promise to love me and warm my skin,
Maybe I'll let you in;

Please don't go away,
Just please stay,
I won't feel the same if you go,
I hope you will stay;
