Let The Sunshine In (Let Us In/Accept)

As the starving ones,
Stare at one another,
Watching the people in the fancy suits,
Believe they are protecting the people from danger,
But soon we'll wake up to a horrible reality,
And we'll have to face a dying world once full of fantasy;

We keep fighting until we're broke,
And we stand alone watching everything goi up in smoke,
As I pray,
I begin to lose the ideas I was going to say,
I picked my future learning from the story filled films I've seen on the screen,
Trying to forget where we've been;

We've forgotten to let the sunshine in,
Everything is about our sins;

Let the flesh failures begin,
People already feel pain,
And it's hard to stay sane,
In a world of hopeless lies,
Where young men leave home and they go yo die,
We heat the stories, yet we do nothing but let out a sigh,
If people could stand up and prove that we can see eye to eye;

No one is born a monster,
But is taught or forced to be a hate driven killer,
Someone who was lost and never found;

Imagine a world where we can turn on the T.V. and don't have to see the pictures of red,
No more hearing about the dead,
Stop saying 'enough said',
Because enough is never enough,
We can fight like this forever,
Because we're all fighters who fight for what they believe in;

We can stop all the wars,
Because that's not what we're here for,
We can help one another when we feel sore,
Remember Chaplin said: "The good Earth is rich and can provide for everyone",
So let's forget about the things we've done,
And open our eyes to the sun;

Open our eyes to the strange beauty that we've chosen to ignore,
Open our ears to the hidden lore,
Understand that there is soon to be more,
Forget what happened before,
Because love is everywhere,
Even when we don't see it,
We can feel it,
We just have to let the sunshine in,
Let everyone in,
Let us in;
