Paper Planes by M.I.A

The metal door of my locker shuts tightly and i lock my padlock for the last time.

I lean against the cool surface and take a deep breath. Finally some peace of mind.

"Who's ready to fuck shit up!" Selina yells and I open my eyes. A large smile coats my lips and I jump along with her.

"Don't forget to be ready bright and early tomorrow" Pamela chimes in and we holler.

"Spring break here we come" we say excitedly in unison before squealing and walking out of the hall for the last time until next week.

"Yes I have it don't worry" I say to my mom as I carry my suitcase down the flight of stairs.

"How about your health card?" she asks for quite possibly the millionth time.

I turn around and place my hands at the sides of her face. "I have everything. I promise. I double and quadruple checked to make sure nothing was left behind" i assure her and she sighs.

"You're all grown up" I chuckle and roll my eyes.

"I'll be back before you know it" I kiss her cheek before opening the door.

It's still dark out seeing as how it's four in the morning currently. Our flight to Mexico leaves at seven in the morning so Pamela thought it was better to arrive three hours earlier than expected to be on the safe side.

"I love you" my mom says and I give her a big hug. "I love you too" I lift up the handle of my suitcase before rolling it out of the door and down the three steps.

A back car awaits for me out in front of my lawn.

A man in his early forties steps out and helps me with my luggage. I thank him quickly before getting into the backseat.

"Hey" i'm greeted with a warm welcome from Pamela sitting against the door opposite to me.

"Hey sleepyhead" I can tell she just woke up by the puffiness around her eyes.

"All ready to go?" Selina asks from the passenger seat. Her voice is raspy also giving me a clear indication that she too, just woke up from slumber.

"Ready as I will ever be" I double check to make sure everything that is immediately necessary is in my bag pack. Both chargers, portable charger, gum packet, earphones, sunglasses lip balm and lip gloss are lying at the bottom of my bag.

"The guys said that they'll be meeting us half way through the week. Apparently they need to stop by Vegas first for some 'pocket change'" I shake my head with a chuckle.

"Idiot are going to lose everything they own" Selina laughs.

I text Jack that I'm on my way to my flight. He doesn't respond obviously because 9 times out of 10 he's knocked out in bed.

The ride to the airport doesn't last too long, just half an hour and our driver drops us off at the entrance. He gives us our luggage each before we thank him for the ride and take our leave.

We walk through the airport and it's surprisingly not filled as much as I expected it to be. But then again Gotham isn't filled with rowdy teenagers were more of the angsty kind.

"Where do we register?" Selina asks and I grab the boarding passes from her hand.

"Look at the name of the company and look for a monitor with its name, Sunwing" all three pairs of eyes are glancing around the large area before Pam spots our place.
