Bren's POV~
I ran from the truck. Literally, I just had to think. Stella's Diner was right by a running trail. Good, I thought to myself. I started walking about halfway through the trail. Up ahead I saw a female figure. She had long blonde hair and a model's figure. I looked closer and saw a man with her. When she finally saw me her eyes widened.
"Bren! Bren, is that you?" She yelled. I swallowed hard and nodded. The girl ( or woman should I say) ran toward me. When she got closer, I saw she had eyes like Lindsay. It couldn't be, Lindsay had dyed her hair black with pink tips since she was ten years old.
"Bren, its me!! Lindsay, but we have to keep quiet!" She jumped up and down, as for me I screamed at the top of my lungs. Well, I did until a hand clasped over my mouth. I looked up to see a man. The man actually, the man that had been by 'Lindsay's' side. I didn't know where we were going. All i knew was the man's eye's were filled with anger.
Luke's POV~
When Bren ran, I almost went after her but she probably needed space so, I sat in the car for a while. As I reached the door, I heard someone scream. Then I realized it was Bren. I took off into the woods, not caring that I was blowing off my friends. When I got about halfway through the trail, I saw a blonde girl dancing. I didn't think anything of it until I was standing right in front of her.
" Um.... excuse me? By any chance have you seen a girl with short blonde hair and turquoise eyes?" She looked up and shook her head. I tried to find a resemblance to Lindsay, but nothing. Different eyes, different hair, different everything. I turned around knowing I had just lost the one person i cared about. I had just ruined a perfect family. I kept walking down the trail. Before I was at the end, tears started to slide down my cheeks.
"I will find you Bren, and Lindsay too."
* So if you are confused the man who kidnapped Lindsay, had another girl dress like her and get Bren. Then changed her fake contacts before Luke came!!!
