"I can feed myself, Jimin." I said, reaching for the spoon.

He pulled back, shaking his head. "Just let me do it."

He brought the spoon to my lips, pouring the soup down my throat. I wished the doctors would allow me to eat solid food. I didn't know how much more soup I could take.

At least I was back in my own bed. The hospital bed wasn't comfortable, and it was difficult to sleep there. Regardless, Jimin hadn't left my side at the hospital. He was still at my side here, too. I felt guilty. Didn't he have responsibilities as king? I was getting in the way.

"Aren't you tired?" I asked him.

"I'm alright."

"Those dark circles under your eyes say otherwise."

He crinkled his nose at me. "Just drink the soup."

Without another word, I let him feed me. I was too tired to fight him anyways.

After the soup, there was a long silence.

"I'm so sorry, Y/N." he whispered.

I patted his hand. "Stop apologizing. It's not your fault. You didn't pull the trigger."

"But I provided the target," Jimin replied. "If I hadn't pulled that stunt..."

"We'd still be in danger," I replied. "Something else would have happened. We're lucky this one turned out alright."

He stared at me for a long moment. I couldn't tell what he was thinking. His head dropped, and he rubbed his face in his hands.

"I thought I lost you." he whispered.

I smiled, remembering what he told me the day the windows blew out.

"I'm not going anywhere." I said.

He chuckled and brought my hand to his lips, then rested his forehead against it.

"Jimin, you need to sleep." I said.

He smirked up at me. "Is that an invitation?"

"What?"

In one move, he slid onto the bed next to me, wrapping his arm around me. He leaned his head against my shoulder, taking a deep breath.

"This is better," he murmured.

I should have put up a fight against it, but I didn't have the heart to throw him out. His arm draped across me as he settled in, his warm body against my side.

After everything that happened, it was comforting.

He started to laugh.

"What's funny?" I asked.

"Nothing, sorry." he replied. "I was just thinking... remember when my Mother locked us in the library together?"

I laughed, even though it stung my side a bit. "What made you think of that?"

"I think she wanted something like this to happen. To find us with our arms around each other. She always liked you. She always wanted me to like you as much as she did."
