#2 Footprints at sea shore

Cracked tea cup, chipped away glass
Life feels like this
Water is slowly dripping away from this pot
Life is slowly slipping away like sand from my hand
Waves come and go
Not bothering to recognize me
Flotsam and jetsam of forgotten memories lies at my feet
No one cares if there are some pearls mixed among it
Throwaways and things given to goodwill
My name is still stamped though it's fading
Look back, look forwards
Never found what was worth looking for
Will life fade away like footprints at sea shore
Or will it shine light years after the star has died
Tell me a lie
Tell me I will atleast bring a small smile
When you reminence about me
Tell me goodbye feeled with that smile
