I see you walking away in rearview mirror
My hands automatically shift car to reverse gear
Brain tells to move forwards
But this impulse pulls me towards
you

There are things left unsaid
Arguments unfinished
You walk away like its all done and cleared
But I haven't got any closure

You are leaving me confused
feelings are coming unhinjed
At least tell me where it went wrong
Let me know if all was my fault

Don't remember you ever going wrong, so it must be me
Just confirm that at least
And I will unearth all memories, you are trying to bury
I will find the wrong I did
I will then apologize

To myself for hoping against hope
