I try to forget
All the hard times
All the bad signs
All those heartbreaks
Its something I can't shake.
I try to forget
Times when I had no money in my pocket
When I found enemies in face of a friend
Times when I ignored how I truly felt
All those messages I never sent.
I try to forget
Lots of regrets accumulated over time
Sleep deprives me of dreamless night
Ghosts of past weigh on my mind
What won't I give to make it right!
Alas its too late
I try to forget.
