The gray clouds from the day before had disappeared and were replaced with rays of sunlight, reflecting on the water-soaked ground.

When I entered my class after lunch, I was surprised to find a piece of paper on my desk, being shone on by a sliver of light from the window.

My eyes narrowed as I realized the sheet of paper I thought I had put away inside of my backpack was sitting there, perfectly folded in two.

Once I went to my seat I noticed something more written on it than what I had put before.

You dropped this when you were leaving class. I hope you don't mind that I read the things that you wrote. It was quite interesting.

- Ivy

Who is Ivy?

What did I write that was interesting?

I opened up the paper to reread the things that escaped my mind the day before.

"School is boring. Calculus is boring. Why do I need all these classes? When will the sun come back out? I can't wait to leave," is what I wrote along the lines, with random flower vines stretching across the edges and corners of the paper.

How is this interesting? Was she being sarcastic?

My eyes scanned the classroom for a girl I thought would write something like this.

There were only eight girls in my class, and I started to cross some of them from my mind.

Miyoung was too much of an extrovert to have written it; she would have yelled out who it was and read the things out loud rather than return it quietly. I concluded the same thing with Hyejin.

Now there were only six available people left.

Unless a guy wrote this.

I shook my head and continued to deduce my options.

Yuri perhaps could have written it, considering her upbeat personality, but she probably would have chased me down the hallway to return it to me while screeching my name.

Bitna would have blackmailed me by threatening to give it to the teacher if I didn't do something for her.

Seohyun was too shy, like me, to write something like that. Besides, she was always studying and doing her work, so she wouldn't have time to pay attention to a piece of scrap paper on the ground.

There were only three girls left that I could think of: Hana, Seulgi, and-

"Jungkook, stop spacing out before the teacher catches you," Yugyeom whispered, nudging the side of my head with his pencil.

I blinked a couple of times and looked at him, and he gave me a quick glance before looking back at the teacher. I looked up to the board, where Mr. Seon was explaining some art technique on the board.

I quickly copied down the notes that he wrote beside it, pretending to be completely immersed in his speech. But, the name of the last girl lingered in my mind.

-Jia. She's the other one.
