Sweat smeared the ink that marked the paper I carried in my hands.
It didn't help that Yugyeom was hopping around me like that happy idiot he was.
"You got her Kakao! Why are you being so nervous for?" he exclaimed, shaking my shoulder.
"What if it's not her?" I said, "What if it's actually Seulgi?"
"If it was Seulgi, don't you think Hana would have given you her Kakao instead? She's friends with both of them, so she probably knows who wrote it," Yugyeom explained, and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Then how come she didn't know who Ivy was either?"
His lips cracked into a small smile and a chuckle escaped his mouth.
"Ah, Jungkookie," he said, ruffling my hair, "I sometimes wonder how you're older than me."
I frowned at him and he sighed, putting his hand at his temple.
"There's a thing girls do called 'feigning surprise' when these types of things happen. She pretended not to know who Ivy was because she knew already. That's why she gave you Jia's Kakao instead of Seulgi's," he explained, and the wires in my brain finally connected.
"Ah," was all I managed to say, and he laughed while I looked back down at the paper.
