I looked up to see the truck, that made my life miserable, drive away. My parents decided that we would be better off moving to Indiana, instead of staying in California where all my friends were. My dad says moving here gave him an opportunity for him to do well in his job and a better future for our family. I knew the real reason though, my father thinks it would be nice to live in the country instead of the city.

So now I'm a fourteen year old girl with no friends, a new school, a new home, and no future. I may be exaggerating a little, but hey I'm miserable and don't care.

I stood on the sidewalk in front of my house. I didn't know what the house looked like on the inside, I refused to go in until I got some air. Our house was way too big for me, and all the other houses too. It looked like a mansion just from the outside, but not as big as a mansion as the people's across the street.

"Hey Camillia dear, you need to unpack and get ready for school," my mom said happily. I never liked my name, it always seemed too girly for my style. But my mom was a girly girl, and she named me.

I wanted to be left alone and stay outside that house but I just said, " Okay I'll be there in a minute."

I stood there for about two minutes and went to go in the house. But as I did, I saw a person looking through the window of the mansion across the street. When I turned around and looked at the window, I saw nothing. I sighed and as I predicted, it was my powers messing with my brain.

Well I call it powers, but I really have no clue what to call it. You see, ever since I was little I saw things and heard things. I would always tell my parents. They thought I'd grow out of it, and it was just my imagination forming. But when I was ten and told them my dreams could tell the future, they became more concerned. Honestly, I stopped telling them about it so they would quit bugging me every twenty minutes. I seemed to be the only one in the family who had these powers.

So I ignored it, slowly walked up to the porch, and went to unpack and get ready for school.

As soon as I walked through the door, I wanted to go back outside. This house was way to freakin huge. Hell, every room was to big. To my left was the kitchen where my mom was putting her utensils up. To my right was the living room where my dad and younger brother, Brady, were watching TV. In front of me was a long hallway with many doors ,and a staircase leading upstairs.

I didn't bother looking at the rest of the house, I started walking up the staircase when I heard a comment from Brady. " You can choose any room except the brown room, and mine."

" Oh, and which one might that be Krillin?" I said with a smirk on my face.

Brady frowned. " It's the blue one, and don't call me that it's not my name."

Then my smirk grew into a twisted smile. "I know but it's my nickname for you short stuff." With that he walked away, and I went up the rest of the stairs.

Brady was short for his age, but then again it may just be me. Brady was only in sixth grade while I was in eighth. I was tall for my age at five foot eleven. Almost everyone in my school had to look up at me. My friends would make jokes all the time about me needing to shrink. The closest one to my height was my best friend by an inch or two. With Brady at exactly five foot, he had trouble with high places.

As I looked at the two vacant rooms I saw a lavender room with my desk, bed, drawers, and my boxes already in there. I should've known that my parents would know which room I'd choose, so I started unpacking.

.........................

When I got done it was 4:32, so I decided that I would take a quick shower before supper.

As I walked down the stairs I heard my mom yell. "Camillia come down we're going out for dinner!"

I looked at my pj's that I just changed into, and sighed really loud. I went back to my room and changed into the clothes I was going to wear to school tomorrow, which was a Soul Eater t-shirt with all the main characters and plain jeans.

I'm an anime freak, or so my brother calls me. I can't help the fact that me and my best friend discovered anime. We instantly became interested. The first anime we watched was Dragonball Z. But our other friends didn't seem to like anime, and that was fine with us. They still accepted us for who we were.

I slipped on my Nikes shoes and grabbed my sweat shirt before going out the door to the car parked out front ready to go. As I opened the car door something was thrown at my face. My reflexes took over, and I easily dodged it. When I looked a note book was on the ground. I picked it up, and got in the car.

When I looked at Brady, he looked very disappointed." What's wrong? You look like you killed a person," I said with a sad look on my face.

He just glared at me. " I was hoping that notebook would bash your head in, but I'm not the luckiest fellow."

I rolled my eyes and sarcastically said, ''Wow! You're the most caring little brother in the world." He just gave me another glare and looked out the window.

We went to the Olive Garden, and afterwards got ice-cream. I assumed my parents were trying to cheer us up, and thought they'd win us over. I just acted excited. When we got to the house I instantly went to my room. I wasn't tired and checked for any emails from my friends.

As I did I found a door that I hadn't noticed before. I got up and opened the door. I saw a staircase, and went up them. When I reached the top I found a trapped door above me. I pushed out the trap door and went through. I ended up on the roof. The view was amazing, you could see the forest to my left perfectly. And of course the other houses down the streets to my right. I looked at the mansion across the street, and I saw the person through the window staring at me. But this time it was from the second floor. I knew I saw it that time and saw it disappear. My powers seem to be getting more serious, but I won't tell my parents it would only make them worry again.

I went back down to my room, and made sure that I was ready for school. I hated the fact that I was started school during the middle of the first semester. Times like this I'm glad Brady was his age, he never had to worry about high school, or making new friends.

He has always been a friendly person, where I was always cautious. I hardly ever talked and never participated in much. I always tried not to get noticed by wearing dark clothes, while Brady would always wear the brightest clothes and be the center of attention. It was surprising that we were siblings, its not just are personalities but looks as well.

Brady had dark brown hair that always was cut very short, had light brown eyes, and was skinny with muscles from sports. He also reminds me of Krillin from Dragonball Z which is why I call him that. I have dirty blond hair that was wavy and came a little past my shoulders, had light blue eyes, and was plain skinny. But I wasn't a stick like most people, I had meat on my bones and muscles. I was really strong.

I sat in bed and looked at the time. It was 9:18 so I decided , since I had nothing else to do, I would go to bed early. Before I fell asleep, I thought about what tomorrow would bring and if my father was right about us moving here.
