Chapter 2:Final
As I here the loud bang and here the crackling of Angela's phone, I look at Angelo and then I hit the E-brake and do an immediate spin. I push my foot on the gas then drive back to my house as fast as I can to get to Angela.
When we walk into the house I run to the kitchen knowing she'll be there. I see her laying on the ground, she looks unconscious. I run to her and pick her head up to see if she's breathing. She is.. I yell at Angelo and tell him to call an ambulance. His notices that both of our phones are in my car still. As I'm feeling her back I notice a part is wet, I flip her around and see blood on her sky blue dress. I examine the wound a see a dart in there, it's green.. probably a tranquilizer dart. I get a knife and un-lodge the bullet from her back. I pull the top of the dart off and a little piece of paper with a message on it rolls out. I pick it up, startled and shaking because I'm very scared. I read it and I'm sitting there shaking my head. I have no clue as to what happened and the ambulence arrives. They pick her up and put her on the Stretcher then put her in the ambulence and drives off. Angelo and I hop in my car and drive up to the hospital.
I'm in the emergency room with Angelo and I'm about to burst into tears because what if she dies, she's my everything, I'd be done without her, If she dies.. I die. I'm thinking that in my head as I start to tear up. Angelo asks for, Ms. Angela Gonzalvez. The receptionist then directs us to where she's being evaluated at. She's out cold, and she looks terrible. The doctor has a mask on and says to me, she may be out cold for another few hours.
It's now 8 p.m and we're still waiting in the emergency room. Angelo figures he should call his parents and I go outside to have a cigarette, I haven't smoked ever in my life.. so why not start now. As I'm sitting on a bench I see a big silver Camaro pull up, it's Grace and Fabio. They give the keys to the drive assist people and Fabio jumps out. Walking fast towards me and says, You motherfucker what'd you do to her? I get up and say " I didn't do anything.. I come home to see her laying on the kitchen floor with a wound in her back. He says to me " You lying piece of shit, I'm definitely gonna tell my commissioner about what you do" Mr. Nievez.
I'm shocked, how will I get out of this? Is there any way? I walk back into the hospital and go back to Angela's room. I see her parents and Angelo sitting in the three chairs on one side of the room. I sit in one of the three on the other side. Mr. Gonzalvez has a mean stare towards me. I don't think he knows what really happened but whatever he is thinking is pretty bad. Ms. Gonzalvez and Angelo don't seem to notice his facial expression. The doctor with the mask walks back in the room with a clipboard and says he has the results.... (To be continued in Chapter 3) -Entry 8
