Chapter 4: Part One " Explanations " -Entry 16

I wake up to see Angelo sitting at the table looking out the window . I say good morning as I pull the blanket off me to remember that my ankle is broken . He looks back at me and gives a subtle smile and says hey. He gets up and starts talking fast throwing many different words at me.

Angelo : What'd they do to you in there? Why were you on the stairs with blood on you ?

Chris : I was trying to escape that jail. I had blood on me because I slit one of the guards throats. I was on the ground because I slipped and broke my ankle.

Angelo : Aw man, we better get that checked out, it must hurt a lot.

Chris : It doesn't matter right now I need explanations. I need to know what happened to you after the accident. How did you know where I was at?

Angelo : I hacked into the prisons roster and saw your name on the list. I survived the accident and woke up later that night to discover that you weren't in the hospital so I got out the next day and looked everywhere for you. I took the following days and dedicated them to my re-up , I bought everything I needed to break into the prison so I could break you out. I had to explain to Angela what had happened to you so I ended up telling her that you went missing after our accident. I honestly haven't seen my dad since I was in the hospital though so I have to talk to him soon.

Chris : That's insane man, its crazy what happened and I'm surprised you pulled it off.

Angelo : You can call Angela and tell her you're gonna be coming home soon while I take a shower and get ready for the day.

Chris : Okay bro.

As Angelo leaves the room I sit there and think about how thankful I am for Angelo and Angela to be okay still. I call Angela with a smile on my face.

Angela : Hello? Who's this?

Chris : Hey babe, it's me.

Angela : B-baby, you're actually okay?

Chris : Yeah , I am, I had to get some business to take of but I'm all good now and I'll be home later , okay?

Angela : Okay , I love you so much, you have a lot to do when you get home.

Chris : Okay, I love you too. See ya later.
