I was sat on a bench at a park where Taehyung and I used to go to when we were kids. He called me yesterday saying it was urgent and that he had to talk to me today. Told me to be here at 1 pm.
2:03 pm
An hour already passed and he still wasn't here, "Where is he?" I look around at the families around the park. Kids were running around having fun, whilst I was starting to worry if Taehyung was okay.
My phone started to ring in my hand.
Caller ID: Taetae
"Ya! Where are you?" I said annoyed.
"Mian, (Y/N), are you still there?" he said his voice soft, how could I stay mad at him when he sounds like this?
"Yeah, are you coming?" I asked.
"You're sitting on the bench?" he asked.
"Yes,"
"Turn around," he said and I turn my head and saw him.
He smiled waving and just stood there, "What are you doing there?" I asked through the phone.
"Admiring you," he said.
"Kim Taehyung!" I said and he just smiled.
"Can you do me a favor?" he asked as we were just staring at each other in our place.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Turn back around and close your eyes," he said.
"Wae?"
"Please," he said and I sigh.
I turn around and close my eyes like he said, "This is so weird," I said.
"Just be patient, I'll end the call now," he said and the call ended.
As I waited in my seat, feeling ridiculous, I could sense Taehyung walking closer and closer. And for some reason, my heart started to race to.
"I'm sorry I was late," he said standing behind me and I felt my heart skip a beat, "It took me a while to get this for you."
Suddenly I felt his hands near my neck and a necklace was placed, "Don't open your eyes just yet."
I brought my hand to the pendant feeling what it was, but I couldn't make out the odd shape.
"Open your eyes now," I opened my eyes and saw Taehyung standing in front of me, "Hi."
"Hello," I smiled.
"The necklace, is a rose," he said and I looked down at the necklace.
It was a gold rose, "You're my rose, (Y/N)," he said and I look up at him.

"You're a beautiful flower that I want to protect and take care of always. You're my rose because I ... I love you, (Y/N)," he said and I just look at him in awe, "I've always loved you."
I stand up and hugged Taehyung, feeling the tears spill from my eyes, "I love you too."
He hugged me tighter, "You don't know how relieved I am to hear that."
We chuckled staying in each other's arms.
I pulled away first and wiped my tears, "You definitely know how to make a girl wait," I said and he laughed.
"I'm sorry, it took me 2 years to tell you," he said giving me his boxy smile.
I played with the tips of his fringe, "You're forgiven, but I can't believe you made me wait for another hour by myself!" I slap his arm and he chuckled.
"Sorry again," he pulled me into a hug, "I'm really sorry," he kissed my forehead and continued to hug me.
"It's alright, nothing food can't fix," I said and he chuckled.
"You and your love for food," he shakes his head as he pulled away.
"As if you don't love your meat," I said and we started walking together.
"Not as much as I love you," he said making me blush, "Is that too much?"
I shake my head, "Ani, it's just right," I lean on his arm.
It took him two years to tell me. Mhmm, another hour isn't so bad. He loves me and that's all I ever wanted.
