Jin and I were having a picnic at a park in our neighborhood, to celebrate our first year anniversary. He prepared sandwiches and I baked cookies for dessert.

"Do you still remember the first time we met?" I asked Jin as he took a bite of his sandwich and he put his hand up signaling me to wait. He chewed his food and then drank water.

"Yeah, it was freshmen year of high school," He said looking up in the sky remembering, "I had a crush on you the moment I saw you," I felt my cheeks turn red.

"Don't be so cheesy!" I slapped his arm and we both laughed.

"What about you?" He asked and then took a bite of his sandwich.

"Of course I do! You were so tall, you stood out the most!" I giggled remembering how geeky he looked like, "You had glasses and you looked extremely awkward."

"Hey! I was pretty good-looking!" He protested and I shook my head, "Are you serious?"

"I'm sorry, but I did not find you attractive back then," I said and took a bite of my sandwich. He pouted and turned his body away from me.

"But your kind heart made up for that," I added and he still didn't turn around, "If I said you that even if you looked awkward, you were cute too, would you face me?" He shook his head and I giggled, "I see some things haven't changed." I said referring to his childish behavior.

"Do you want me to tell you, how I really saw you back then?" He nodded, "You have to look at me then," He turned his head to look at me and I gestured him to turn his whole body to face me. He rolled his eyes but smiled.

"It was during home period ..."

It was currently home period and we were all talking with our friends. I was talking with Ashley and Esther, about cute guys in the other classes.

"Have you seen Taehyung and Jungkook?" Ashley squeals, she's so adorable.

"You mean hot and hotter?" Esther comments and we all laugh.

"What about you, (Y/N), has anyone caught your eye?" Ashley asks. I was about to answer when our homeroom teacher came in.

"Everyone settle down, we have a transferring student," Mr. Jung said and we all sat at our respective desks, "Come in."

Then a tall boy with black hair and glasses came through the door.

"I bet he's cute without glasses," Esther whispered while I just stared at him.

"Hello, I'm Kim Seokjin, please call me, Jin," He greeted. His voice was quite soft, he's shy then and quite awkward.

"Thank you, Jin, please find a seat at the back," Mr. Jung instructed and Jin walked towards us, and sat at the free desk behind Esther.

Esther being the social butterfly she is started talking to Jin casually, "Hello Jin! I'm Esther, and this is (Y/N) and Ashley, they're my best friends." Esther said gesturing to us, Ashley who was beside me waved at him and I gave him a tight smile. Let's just say I'm not the friendliest one in our group.

"Nice to meet you," He politely said, but I could feel he was being uncomfortable.

"You have a few more minutes before your first class, I advise you to prepare," Mr. Jung said and left class. The whole class started to chatter all over again. I heard some of the girls a few rows away talk about Jin.
