Chapter 2

"Hermano despierta!!!!!!!" a little girl with two black pigtails said jumping on her brother's bed.

"Milagro, deja de saltar..." a boy groan tiredly.

"Jaime get up!!!" Milagro said pulling on her brother's hand.

"Jaime Reye get up, young man!" Mrs. Reyes said crossing her arms.

"Okay!" Jaime groans pushing himself off his comfortable bed and looking at his mom.

Queen Bianca smiled softly at her son while wearing a beautiful rose pattern dress. Milagro sticks her tongue at her brother and went to her mom who chuckles. Jaime rolled his eyes and grab his regular clothes and fixing his boots.

"Why so early mom?" Jaime asked looking at his mother.

"Tu tío is coming here to celebrate Milagro's birthday! Isn't that faboulse." Bianca smiled brightly.

"IF you mean, him getting drunk, flirting with every girl, and sleeping on the floor. Then yeah mom that fabuloso!" Jaime said while pulling his hair back.

"Yeah..."Bianca said glaring at nothing.

They walk out their kingdom to see King Alberto talking to one of the commanders of the royal guards.

"Ah, your highness." the guard bowed making Bianca chuckle.

"Oh please. No need to bow, Michael. You are soon to be married to King Ted making you familia." Bianca chuckle while hugging Michael Jon Carter.

"I-I know..." Michael said blushing. "Oh, Ted said he will be here by tomorrow."

Jaime smiled brightly making Alberto chuckle.

"Of course. Anyways my baby princess birthday is tomorrow so I hope he gets here on time." Alberto said hugging Milagro who smiles.

"Speaking of time. Alberto have you heard anything from Carlos?" Bianca asked her husband.

"No, I haven't I hope things are okay," Alberto said seeing his children looking at them, concern. "Why don't you two go out and play."

Milagro smiled brightly running out the throne room heading to the beach. Michael bowed once again and started walking out the room. Jaime looked at the Booster Gold guard walking out and looked at his parents.

"Dad can I stay and hear. I am soon to be king one day. Might as well hear." Jaime said looking at his dad shake his head and smile.

"Not now my son. You're still young. Go out and have fun. I heard the Clarks family are coming from their kingdom. Including the Amazons too." Alberto said making Jaime sigh and nod his head.

"Okay..." Jaime bowed his head and walk out the throne room and heading out to the beach where Milagro would be at.

~The Beach~

"Jaime, do you believe in mermaids?"Milagro asked her brother while looking at him.

"Sirenas? Why are you asking?" Jaime asked his little sister.

"Well, Guy Gardner said mermaids are real and that he manages to live to tell the tale," Milagro said grabbing a seashell.

Jaime rolled his eyes at the name, Guy Gardner. Hal Jordan had always told him not to believe what the fool says including John and sometimes Kyle. He knew Guy adore Milagro so much that he babies her too much.

"Milagro, don't believe a thing Guy Gardner says. He could be lying. Mermaids are make-believe stories." Jaime said making her pout.

"Well, I believe him and I'm gonna find a mermaid myself to make you believe, idiota!" Milagro said and walking away to her little rock island.
