Chapter 7

Jaime sighed knowing tomorrow was Milagro's party. He smiled seeing Cassie flirting with a guy who was blushing crazy.

"Why the gloomy face?" Conner asked making Jaime look at his best friend.

"Just thinking..." Jaime said. "My parents want me to find someone for Milagro's birthday party but I told them that I'm not into dating right now."

Conner nod understanding Jaime problem.

"Believe me. My dad wants me to find someone too. It's just I haven't found the perfect person." Conner said while eating some treats that they got from Mari.

"Yeah, ese. It's just...kinda hard." Jaime sighed looking at Cassie chuckling and walking to them but frown.

"Ughhhhhhhh I'm be gone for like five minutes and you two are gloomy around. No wonder Zatanna left us." Cassie said.

"Actually I'm right here Cassie," Zatanna said smiling.

"Hush! You're supposed to be gone." Cassie said pushing lighting on Zatanna's face making her chuckle.

"Hey! Watch it!" Artemis growled while pulling her girlfriend close.

"Okay. Anyways you two need some loving! Come on!! I saw to cute girls walking by!!" Cassie said happily.

"No thanks, Cassie," Jaime said shaking his head and looked at Conner who had a sour face.

"Fine! What are you guys looking for?" Cassie asked sitting in front of.

Conner and Jaime looked at each other and just shrug.

"We don't know. Were...just not right now looking into a relationship right now." Jaime said making their friends groan.

"Jaime. Conner. We both love you but seeing you two lonely worries us." Zatanna said softly.

"We know Zatanna." Conner smiled softly.

"Just give them time, hun. They'll find it soon." Artemis said smiling at Conner and Jaime.

"Great, I have to check on Milagro...she always at the beach for some reason," Jaime said shaking his head about to stand.

"Here, let me do it. I need the walk." Conner said stretching.

"Really? Thanks, Conner. She usually at the coral island of hers." Jaime said watching Conner nod and wave bye to his friends.

~The Beach~

Milagro was looking at Tiny who was splashing water at her making her gasp and close her eyes.

"Tiny! We're trying to show Milagro to swim. Not drown." Tim rolled his eyes while sitting on the coral rock.

"Don't worry. I have her." Bart said holding Milagro's stomach while Tim was telling her how to move her hand.

"I-I think I got the hang of it!" Milagro said happily.

"That's great!! Let's try it on the shallow side. Come on Tim." Bart said happily.

"It's a good thing Dick showed me how to fully swim in the shallow side." Tim chuckled.

They swam to the shallow side and Bart sat on the sand with his tail under water including Tim. Tiny was in the half shallow side so she won't get stuck in the sand. Milagro smiled brightly with her hands in fists.

"LET"S DO THIS!!" Milagro said happily.

Tim and Bart chuckled and told Milagro to remember what they told her. She nods and threw herself on the water only to sink down. Bart gasp while Tim smacks his face and started to laugh. Bart helps her up when she was splashing everywhere.

"Perhaps we should practice more." Bart smiled softly.

"¿Por qué no puedo hacerlo bien?" Milagro whined.

"Don't worry, Milagro. You'll get the hang of it." Tim smiled watching Bart sit back down when Milagro stood upon the sand.

Conner looked around the coral island and frown. He couldn't find Milagro anywhere. He sighed but looked up when he heard laughing and Milagro screaming in Spanish. He raised a brow and walk to the sound and stop when he saw the most beautiful boy he ever saw. He watches as the beautiful boy was saying something to his friend with light brown hair, who was helping Milagro up. He took the time to look a the boy seeing his beautiful and untouched skin that some reason shine with the sunlight touches his skin. 

"This is pointless." Milagro sighed sadly.

"Come on! Don't give up!" Tim said smiling brightly.

"Yeah! You will be crash at swimming like us...will kinda sin-" Bart and Tim gasp when they heard a shout.

"Milagro!" Conner said.

Tim and Bart's eyes went wide like a deer caught headlights. Bart watched as Conner ran to them but Milagro ran to him so he won't get close. Tim was about to have a heart attack because not only were they being seen by a human, but a handsome one. Tim looked at Bart afraid while he shook his head.

"Don't, our tails are under the water. Don't move or he finds out." Bart said holding Tim's hand making him nod.

"Who are they?" Conner said looking at the Tim who blushes and looked away fast.

"O-Oh! T-Those are my friends! Yeah! My friends. That's Tim and Bart." Milagro said trying to make Conner turn around but he smiled and walk around her.

"Let me at least introduce myself to them. I heard from Jaime you made a friends by yourself." Conner said walking to the two boys.

Tim and Bart's eyes went wide making Milagro panic and did the stupids thing ever. She tackles him down. Conner gasped and fell face first on the sand. Milagro looked up waving her hands to them.

"Let's go!" Bart whisper pulling Tim and making the water drag them into the deep with his power. 

"Milagro what the hell?" Conner said looking at her and turn around to gasp. "Where they go? Milagro did you do that on purpose for them to escape." 

Conner raise a brow at her making her chuckle and shrug. 

"Probably...their my friends and I get to decide if they meet people or not. Okay! Time to go home!!" Milagro laughed and grabbed her stuff and started walking.

Conner looked at Milagro confused and looked back at the spot where Tim and Bart where. He frowns softly when he remember how nervous and scared Tim looked and how Bart was whispering something to him. He sighed but smiled knowing that Tim was perfect and that he would want to know the boy more. He chuckles and ran after Milagro who was far away from him. What he didn't know was that Tim was watching him from behind a rock and he sighed helplessly.

"Ohhhh, now you can't say anything to me now!!" Bart said pushing his friend.

"Whatever! Come on. We have to find Milagro a gift for her birthday party tomorrow." Tim said grabbing Bart's hand and diving into the water.
