Chapter 24

All the merpeople all screamed seeing the barrier get destroyed and seeing the armor people swim inside. The merguards were all swimming upward holding their swords and spears. Arthur, J'onzz, Carter, and Jay had their tridents and started attacking each armor people. Mera and Selina were telling the merpeople to swim to safety quickly. 

"There fired a spell at the blue one!" J'onzz said to Arthur, who nodded. 

He aimed his trident at Jaime but groan in pain when he was stab. It was by the green armor merman, who pulled it out and vanish in thin air. J'onzz growled and went after his own kind while Jay went to check on Arthur.

"How is he!?" Carter said killing some Reach men.

"I'm okay! I can still fight!" Arthur said watching his wife control magic and attack some of the men.

"Selina!!" Bruce said grabbing his mate.

"Bruce. We getting all the mermaids out of here!" Selina said looking at Iris hug Barry.

"Jaime turn mother!" White fox said holding her mother's hand.

"See!! We have to kill them all!!" Emmanuel shouted.

"NOO!!" Bart shouted swimming toward them.

"What?" She gasps seeing Prince Bart grabbing her hand.

"Please, he's just being controlled by the Reach. We have to destroy them! To save him." Bart said looking concern and scared.

Emmanuel glare at Bart and looked into his eyes and gasp softly and sighed. She raised her hands and summoned a Gaint squid to help them with the ships. Then every merperson gasps hearing explosion up above the ocean. Barry smiled brightly seeing it was the Green lantern ships attacking including El Passo navy.

"Hal...." Barry whispers feeling happy but shook his head and held his trident tight. "Come on we have a war to end. There are some sirens out there and we have to make sure no of them kill my people!" 

The kings nod and swam toward the people making sure that they were safe. Bruce and Barry were swimming up and Bart follow behind but White fox grabs his arm.

"Bart where are you going!?" She said glaring at him.

"I'm going to save Jaime!" Bart said determined only to make her sigh.

"If you're going I'm going too. I promise myself to keep you safe and plan to do that." White fox said swimming with Bart.

~Reach Ship~

"NOOOO!!! The Green Lantern navy is here!!" One of the scientists shouted.

"Including the El Passo Navy. What do we do!!!??" another said looking scared.

"We destroyed them with our scarab we created." another smirk. "Call in Black, Green, and Blue!" 

They were calling in Black, Blue, and Green making them leave the war underwater. Barry growled and fired a spell to make Jaime back to a human being. He caught Jaime in the blast and he was back in his human form. Jaime looked down when he felt a tentacle grab his leg and drag him under the water.

"Time to end this!" Emmanuel said deadly.

"Mother no!!" White fox shouted.

"Please!!" Bart cried out.

Emmanuel already cast the spell and Jaime was screaming in pain. She growled seeing Green beetle swimming toward her making her fire a blast at him. He was also screaming in pain and when she felt that it work she release her power from them watching them sink down Bart swam to Jaime and grab him by his shoulder and swam up fast. Barry and Bruce were above the ocean and pointed their tridents together and aimed it at the Reach ships and started firing at each ship. Black beetle growled and threw himself toward Barry, who gasp but Hal swings by clashing his sword with the black sword.

"Hands off!" Hal growled and kick the Black beetle making him swing back to his ship.

"Thank you, Hal!" Barry smiled seeing Hal wink and land on his ship.

"Now!!" John said seeing their ships open fire at the Reach ships.

"Now!" Bruce said to Barry making the tridents open fired at the ships too.

"NOOOOO!!" the Reach people all screamed and fell in the water.

"The giant squid is here!!" Emmanuel smirk watching the squids tentacles grabbing each man and dragging them down under the water.

Bart swam to the shoreline of the beach and drag Jaime on to the beach sand and look at his lover seeing him breathing softly making him sigh in relief. He looked back seeing the Reach ships falling into the seas and the men being drag inside the water by the giant squid. He sighed and looked at Jaime and put his hand on his face and brushing off some blood off his mouth.

"Oh, Jaime..." Bart whispers putting his forehead on his and closing his eyes with tears falling from his eyes.
