Chapter 8

"Feliz cumpleanos!!!" Bianca and Alberto said together kissing their baby girl's cheek.

"Mamá! Papá!!" Milagro smiled brightly hugging them and chuckles. 

"We're sorry we can't celebrate your party on your cumpleanos, hija," Bianca said sadly.

"No, it's okay! I just can't wait to eat pastel!!" Milagro said happily.

Bianca and Alberto chuckled at their daughter and told her to get ready cause they have the servants getting everything ready. Milagro smiled brightly and watch her parents walk out. Once they closed the door Milagro jumps off her bed, grab her regular light green dress and was about to use the secret door she found. It heads to a secret passage of a tunnel which leads to the beach. She was about to pull on the torch but stop when she heard a knock.

"MILAGRO HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY!!!" Cassie screamed with her hands out.

"Feliz cumpleanos, hermanita," Jaime said hugging his sister who groans.

"Happy birthday," Conner said messing up Milagro's hair.

"Ughhh, thanks, guys." Milagro said fixing her hair. "Anyways thanks for coming and all but I am a busy birthday princess." 

Milagro was pushing the teenagers out but gasp when Jaime moved aside.

"Doing what? Are you gonna get your two friends that Conner meet?" Jaime asked while crossing his arms.

Milagro looked up at Conner who smiled shyly and looked at Cassie who was smiling brightly.

"Aww come on Jaime. Leave her alone. At least she made these friends herself." Cassie said.

"Yeah, but..." Jaime said but stopped when he heard his mother calling them.

"Oh, mom calling. GO!" Milagro pushes them out and sighed happily.

~White Fox Home~

White fox smiled when she finished the spell for her two mermen friends. She took out two necklaces. The one for Bart has a lightning bolt symbol and for Tim a R shape. She put the necklace inside the spell and watch as the spell wrap around the symbols and she smiled.

"There." White fox smiled and sighed. "Seem like there late."

~Central Kingdom~

Bart jolt awake and looked at Tim who was also knock out. He looked around and saw his room a mess. They stay up all night trying to find a perfect present for Milagro and they found it al late. He gasps when he saw the time and swam to Tim.

"TIM GET UP!!" Bart said watching Tiny gasp.

"W-What??" Tim said tiredly.

"We're late!!" Bart said swimming to his bag that had Milagro's present.

"Aw man!" Tim said and swim out Bart's room to get his bag and gift.

While Tim did that he clean up a little of his mess so the merservants won't have to clean all his mess. He smiled and swam out his room to bump into Barry who caught Bart.

"Whoa, there little speedster. What has you in a rush?" Barry chuckles.

"G-Grandpa! W-What are doing here?" Bart asked.

"Well, I am the King and this is my kingdom." Barry laughs making Bart chuckle. "Anyways I came to check on you. You and Tim were pretty busy yesterday." 

"Oh! Yeah. Tim and I were trying to figure something out." Bart said happily.

"Of course.  With those sunken ships and their secrets." Barry laughs. "You should be grateful that I even allow you two to look at them."

Bart smiled brightly making Barry smile and hug him. He raised a brow but smiled and hugged back.

"Okay, off you go to your trouble. And remember. Stay away from the shore with those. Things." Barry said darkly and smiled at Bart. "Have fun, son."

Bart smiled watching his grandpa swim down the hall and wave at Tim who bowed and wave back. Whelp time to go.

~The Coral Island~

Milagro was walking back and forth looked at her pocket watch and sighed.

"Maybe they can't make it..." Milagro sighed sadly.

"No there here. Just late." Milagro gasped when she heard a different voice. 

A girl's voice. She looked up and gasp in surprise when she saw a Bart and Tim swimming to her with a lady with a white octopus body.

"Wow!! What are you!?" Milagro said amazed making White fox chuckled.

"My name is White fox and I am an octopid honey. The sea witch to these lovely merfolks and these two friends." White fox said bowing to Milagro.

"Oh, well I'm Princess Milagro. It's nice to meet you." Milagro said happily.

"You too. Oh, also happy birthday." White fox said.

Bart and Tim smiled brightly and sat on the coral and looked at White fox who rolled her eyes.

"Okay, you two. Listen carefully. These necklaces will make you human like her but you can not take them off or get them wet because if you do. You will turn back to mermaids." White fox said seriously.

"Yes, we understand," Tim said seriously while Bart was jumping in excitement.

"Come on!" Bart said happily.

White fox chuckled and put the necklaces on Tim and Bart while Milagro watches. Then the water wrap them making them gasp. White fox smiled and told Milagro to cover her eyes and which she did. When the water splash everywhere Bart and Tim were no longer mermaids but human.

"OMG, I HAVE FEET!!!" Bart said happily. "THIS IS SO CRASH!! Whoaa!!"

Bart fell in the water because he wasn't uses to the legs and Tim tired grabbing him but fail. Then Bart's red beautiful tail was back making White fox and Tim smack their faces.

"That what I mean hon. Come here." White fox helps Bart up with her tentacles and swam to the sandy shore and set Bart down. 

Tim was now wearing pants that White fox handed him. Bart smiled when she gave his pants while he still had his tail.

"The way to go back to human if you get your necklace wet is just drying it." White fox said drying the lighting bolt. 

Bart smiled when his legs came back and he put the pants on quickly. She nods and looked at Milagro who smiling brightly as ever.

"I have the perfect clothes! Come on! Thank you White fox!!" Milagro said happily.

They hug White fox who smiled and hug them back but looked at them dead serious.

"Be careful up here. I don't want to get a signal from these necklaces that you got harm by these human understood. If these necklaces sent a signal of pain or one drop of blood on them. I will come up here and get you guys." White fox said.

Bart and Tim smiled softly and nod their heads.

"We understand. Thank you once again." Bart said smiling brightly.
