Lunch time

Lana and lance were walking down the hallway to their lunch period.  They were just fine, until Lana remembered they had to sit with a bunch of strangers that asked the duo to sit with them.

Lana looked over at lance and he seemed to be lost in thought, after what he told Lana about his family. They seemed like they've grown a little closer and she couldn't help, but feel warm inside.

She'd never really had friends growing up because of her brother. She hated that he was known for being rude to people, which our mother and father never taught us to do. They taught them to be kind to everyone. But he just doesn't get it!

"Hey, you alright?" Lance signed looking worried. She smile at him then nodded, his eyes seemed to have less worry in them.

"You sure?" He asked looking down at her, she still nodded and smiled. Happy to see that someone cares about her.

"Hey. You know we have to sit with those people that asked this morning right?" She asked and his eyes widened, he scratched his head and groaned.

"I totally forgot about that!" He signed frantically, she looked up at him and huffed.

"We don't have to sit with them, if you don't want to we can always bail. We could go somewhere else, I got my car." She said holding out her keys to show Lance, he sighed then shook his head.

"No, that'd be rude." Lance signed and looked at her, she shook her head at him. She put her keys away and continued walking to the cafeteria.

"Alright let's go find them then." Lana said leading him to the cafeteria. They looked around until the duo saw the group waving them over. They walked over and saw two seats next to each other which they were both grateful for.

"Hey! It's a pleasure to finally meet you guys!" A girl with white hair said, Lana instantly remembered the women because of her brother.

"It's nice to meet you too!" Lana said back and looked over to lance with his hands shakings. She put my hand on his and he looked over at me, he stopped shaking.

"Hey, I remember you! You're that guy from the mall!" A guy with hazel hair that looks like Pidge said, Lance smiled at the boy. Feeling bad since he couldn't remember his name.

"Excuse me?" Lana asked and looked over at lance and he nodded his head, she looked confused at the group.

"Well we met him at the mall a couple days ago!" He said again, Lance hummed and nodded at Lana.

"I see." Lana said and lance started to raise his hands, Lana looked over and waited for Lance to start signing.

"Yeah, I remember." Lance signed, he nodded at the group. They all looked at me and I translated, they nodded and the girl with white hair smiled.

"Well, why don't you guys sit down! Get comfortable and join us!" The woman said again, they nodded and sat down in their seats.

"By the way, I'm Allura, the man over there with the white tuff is Shiro-which you already know. The guy next to him is Keith, then there's the holt siblings. There's Katie, but we call her Pidge for a unknown reason, then there's Matt. He's a senior, while Pidge is a junior just like Keith. Then here's Hunk, he's a junior while I'm a senior like Shiro and Matt!" Allura explained, they smiled and waved to the group.

"Me and lance are juniors" Lana said laughing, the group smiled knowing they're not that far apart.

"Well tell me about yourselves!" Allura said and the rest just looked at the duo. Keith kept his gaze at the two, staring strangely at the two.

"I'm Lana. I have a older brother, which I hate him with a passion! I love drawing and being productive. I'm adopted, which is cool I guess!" Lana explained, the group nodded and smiled at her. Some of them adding a thing or two, saying how cool or interesting she was.

"Well, I'm adopted, I have snow globe collection-" Lance signed and Lana frowned knowing he was nervous, she smiled at him.

"He's adopted like me and he has a killer snow globe collection." Lana smiled, Lance sighed and gave her a grateful smile.

"Is that it?" Hunk asked and he nodded, they didn't ask anymore questions. The conversation went around, not leaving anybody out in the slightest. Until Keith day up and out his arms in the table, everyone looked at him.

"Is there a reason you can't talk? I mean it's starting to get on my nerves! To stop and wait for someone to translate, it's annoying!" Keith said, the group looked at him shocked. Keith stared at Lance, Lana put her hand on Lance's.

"Keith!" Shiro yelled with his eyes trained on his brother, Keith look up and groaned.

"What!" Keith looked at Shiro and shrugged, Shiro huffed and smacked the back of his head.

"How many time do I have to tell you? You have to be nice! Next year I won't be here! So knock this 'rebel' bullshit off!" Shiro said, while Keith just looked at the ground.

"I'm sorry about him, I hope that he didn't hurt your feelings or anything! You're not annoying, I think your a great person and interesting." Allura said and lance nodded his head slowly, Lana looked over at Keith and she glared at him. She looked over at Lance and frowned, she patted his shoulder gaining his attention.

"you ok?" Lana signed trying to give Lance the privacy he needed. He looked at her huffed, nodding over at her.

"I'm fine." Lance signed slowly, bringing his hands down to mess with his fingers. Lana hummed, she wanted to believe him but in honesty she couldn't.

"I know that is a lie because I can see that your sad!" Lana signed again noticing looks from the other, she smiled at them and they turned back to their conversation with each other.

"I guess, I used to be bullied from my other school. I was glad to move here and have a fresh start, but it seems like everywhere I go, I can't escape it." Lance signed while frowning, Lana glared. Who could hate someone like Lance, she couldn't believe that was even a thing. He was so nice and caring, she just wanted to murder anyone who messed with him.

"I'll be here for you! Even when someone else messes with you, I'll kick their ass for you! How does that sound?!" Lana signed more cheerful, Lance smiled and chuckled at her. He nodded his head and hummed.

"Thank you Lana, for everything." Lance signed smiling. She smiled back, Lance noticed someone looking at him. He turned to the group, them not even noticing them.

"Hey! You should smile more! It suits you!" Lana signed and lance laughed loudly. Everyone looked over with shock hearing his laugh. Lance looked at everyone with wide eyes and blushed, Hunk smiled over at him.

"What's so funny?" Hunk asked, Lance shook his head. Putting his hand over his mouth to stop the laughing.

"Um, we were talking about flowers! That's right flowers! He laughed because I said roses are more pretty then daisy!" Lana tried to cover up, Lance just sat there and laughed knowing I was having a hard time.

"Isn't that right Lance?" Lana asked, he shot up and nodded quickly. The the group looking amused at his action.

"Daisies are more better since they're not overrated like roses!" Keith said smirking, Lana gasped and looked at the mullet.

"Yeah right! Roses are way better! They're super romantic, daises are just plain!" Lana argued, Lance laughed and shook his head.

"Daisies are better!" Lance signed, Lana gasped and glared playfully at the boy.

"No they are not! Roses are way better, you'd get a better reaction than just daises!" Lana argued and lance put a L on his forehead, Lana gasp and the group laughed at Lana.

"How dare you! I thought you would be on my side!" Lana faked cried and lance sticked out his tongue. While lance was laughing Lana couldn't help, but look over at Keith. His face has turned red watching Lance laugh and smile. This got her wondering, a smirk plastered on her face.

                       Does Keith like lance?
