Sabine entered her daughter's hospital room, witnessing Adrien cuddling with Marinette and the newborn baby. Tom followed his wife, observing the area; the blond haired boy provided them with a polite, gentle smile. "Long time no see."
Without any hesitation, Tom fist-bumped Adrien. "More like short time no see," he commented with a chuckle.
Adrien turned his attention to his future wife and queried, "Is it okay now?" Marinette supplied him with a bewildered gaze in reply. She tilted her head to the side, indicating her blatant confusion until her bluebell eyes darted towards her fiancé's pocket.
Marinette's eyes widened once he revealed what he was looking for previously, gently gasping at the sight, cupping her mouth with her hands. Adrien unveiled the minuscule box, opening it to disclose a golden ring aligned with stunning diamonds.
"Throughout the upsetting and cheerful times alike, you've been by my side. When we've gotten frustrated at each other, we've learned how to forgive and learn from our experiences. I know this is cheesy and simple, but Marinette Dupain-Cheng, will you marry me?" He looked at her with glossy eyes, refraining himself from crying with jubilation.
She nodded rapidly, exclaiming, "Y-Yes. Any day and everyday, Adrien, I'll always say yes to you!" Marinette commenced her joyful sobbing immediately, her parents viewing with enormous grins plastered on their facial expressions.
The doctor returned to the hospital room, seeing the couple celebrating. She glanced at her clipboard and looked at her wristwatch. "Miss, or now should I say, Mrs. Agreste, are you prepared to hand your daughter off to me for the time being?" The doctor raised an eyebrow, awaiting their response. Marinette silently quietly, concluding their celebration and handing her the baby.
"Have you thought of a name yet?" Adrien blurted a question, which struck Marinette's brain as she realized they haven't named their child yet.
"Oh!" The bluenette facepalmed herself. "Ma'am, can we name our daughter before you take her?"
"Why, of course!" The medical professional turned her attention back to the newly wed couple. "Have you guys decided?" The super couple glanced at each other, pondering a variety of names before ultimately deciding.
Like they were telepathically communicating, they said in sync, "Emma." They stared at each other in awe, recognizing that they were genuinely meant to be together. The doctor remained muddled and issued a warm smile, departing with their child to the cleaning station.
The duplet wiped away their tears of ebullience and Adrien delicately embraced his new wife. This act of affection surprised Marinette, but she personally didn't mind. He turned and said to her,
"Once the doctor returns to us with our newborn, a new family begins. Not only a new family, but our family; our new adventure begins."
