"Where do you think you're going?" An insane-like facial expression spread across the male hero's face and in return, the bluenette felt small droplets of sweat dripping down her back, her back already at the edge of the Eiffel Tower.
"N-Nowhere." Marinette nervously looked around, beckoning with the mother and her son to descend down the Eiffel Tower's stairs.
"Sure," Chat replied sarcastically, unamused with her response. "Tell me, why did you shatter my heart?" He paused to seemingly take a breather, but suddenly violated Marinette's personal space. "Ladybitch." Marinette was stunned, feeling tears of fear swell in her eyes, but she wiped them away, refusing to show Chat her genuine emotions.
"You broke me, you ruined my pride and self-esteem. You have no heart whatsoever!" He spat, tears beginning to stream down his cheeks.
She felt her heart being torn apart as he spoke. "I'm not afraid to jump off again!" Marinette threatened, stepping closer to the Eiffel Tower's edge.
"Don't you dare! As much as you stripped away my pride, I somehow still care for you!" Chat yelled with honesty, but Marinette now shook with anxiety, failing her attempt to conceal her sincere emotions.
"You asked for this." Marinette muttered, closing her eyes and slipping her earrings into her earlobes. "Tikki, transform me!"
There, Marinette stood, in front of Chat Noir, except she was Ladybug. She narrowed her eyes, her bluebell gaze filled with intention. With speed and precision, she managed to wrap him in her unbreakable yo-yo. After doing this action, she proceeded to tie him to an iron pole that was anchored on the Eiffel Tower.
"Listen closely before you use your cataclysm." Ladybug's stare pierced Chat's irritated gape.
"I wasn't gonna use it anyways," he muttered under his breath.
"Good; let me explain." She sighed. "The reason why I broke your heart was because I was in love with a guy named Adrien. To give you some context, on the first day I met him, he gave me his umbrella and cleaned gum off my seat. I didn't like him for his looks, despite him being a model, I liked him for his personality, and I hope he understands that someday. So, now, I'm in love with you, and by all means— you're the better version. I hope you understand."
Ladybug untied him from the iron pole and leapt off the Eiffel Tower, disappearing behind a nearby corner. "W-Wait, Mari— I mean— Ladybug!" She heard him call out to her.
He dropped to his knees, realizing his mistake. "I was wrong.. she loved me this entire time. I hope she knows I'm.. sorry."
"You're forgiven," she softly mumbled. Despite Chat's mood earlier, she for whatever reason didn't hesitate to forgive him. Ladybug launched her yo-yo and allowed her weapon to hook onto a nearby building, zipping away to detransform in the comfort of her home.

"Plagg, I think she heard my apology." Adrien smiled at his kwami once he detransformed in his room; Plagg was casually munching on his camembert.
"That's cool." The cat kwami responded, barely acknowledging his somewhat of an accomplishment. Adrien walked to his enormous glass window and gazed at Paris' night scenery.
"I'm going to have to confess to my father soon.. that I'm secretly engaged to Marinette for nine months." He sighed, feeling his breath becoming more unsteady as he thought about it .
"Don't worry kid, you have it in the—" Plagg was interrupted by thundering fists, banging outside of Adrien's door.
"Adrien!" It was his father, who didn't seem very thrilled at the moment.
