Alexis's pov

I stared out my window I was so tempted to go into my hideout but I didn't because shift change was coming soon and Harry would be here

I heard my door click and Harry stepped in he stood by the doorway I sat up

"Come here" I instructed he smiled and walked over

"Majesty?"

"I need to talk to you" I pointed to the spot next to me

"I have something to say as well" he said as he stepped around me and sat down

I bit my lip I hoped the 2 were related but I highly doubt it

"How are you?" I started casual

"Fine and you?" He smiled

"Mm" I hummed I just wasn't sure how I felt at the moment "did you sleep well?" I continued

"I sleep better when I'm with you" he shrugged that actually made me smile

"I can't agree more" I nodded "I have to go first mines... very important" I huffed he nodded

"Of course Highness" he nodded and looked at my hands he was thinking about grabbing my hand and he just wouldn't I frowned deeply why could he never make the first move

"Harry I just need to know... d-do you feel something for me?" I fidgeted with my ring

"Feel something? What do you mean?" He furrowed his eyebrows

I closed my eyes and sighed "like love Harry, do you feel anything toward me or am I a high class hook up?" I opened my eyes looking at him he was wide eyed

"Um..." he rubbed his palms on his pants looking away "I-I f-feel for you yes" he nodded

"Feel what?" I pushed he looked so panicked he was avoiding eye contact and his hands couldn't keep still

"My Queen please..." he still wasn't looking

"No tell me how you feel that's an order" I crossed my arms if I have to stoop that low then I absolutely will

He forced himself to look at me "I-I have strong a-affection toward you" he rolled his jaw and nodded "I couldn't possibly view you as a hook up because I want more than that with you"

I smiled weakly "how strong?"

"Strong enough t-that I think about you all day and that I... I wish I was a rich man so I could at least be some what good enough for you" he looked at his lap

"You being you is good enough for me" I put my hand on his knee

"I'm not what you deserve" he shook his head looking at my hand

"And Henry is?" he snapped his head up

"NO!" He was instantly pissed he grabbed my hand then down to my forearms then grabbed my other forearm yanking me to him "you deserve someone who loves you unconditionally, who could never think to lay a harsh hand on you, who would lavish you in all the fine things that a gorgeous woman like you could make only more brilliant, who would wait at your feet and offer things before you could ever want them, who you'd be happy to bare a child for that's what you deserve not a damn thing less than that"

I was speechless my jaw was slacked and he still held me not even a whole inch from his body

My eyes welled with tears "oh Harry..." he blinked himself back and let me go my arms both had red hand prints his jaw dropped I grabbed his face "it doesn't hurt it's lovely just like you" I shook my head "Harry d-did you mean that really?"

He nodded "y-yes" I shook my head and kissed him deeply

He was caught by surprise but I couldn't have been anymore ready for this I pulled away "I have very very strong affection for you" I mocked him

He was staring at me "t-this is so dangerous..."

I shook my head "I don't care Harry I have to have you"

"I could never tell you no Majesty, quite literally" he joked

I giggled softly "only thing make a move ,preferably the first move, that's the one thing I ask of you if you don't want me I understand but hold my hand, hug me, kiss me I couldn't want anything more from you" I bit my lip

He licked his lips "I always want you I-I get nervous"

"I know and its endearing just I'd really love if you tried making a move the first move if at all possible" he nodded

"I'll try for you" he blinked then kissed my cheek I smiled

"That's a great start"

"W-wait majesty I-I still have to tell you my bit of news" he frowned

I cocked an eyebrow "yes?"

"I-I'll be leaving soon"

I pulled away "What? When? For how long?"

He frantically reached for me again "not for long I'll be gone for 2 days I'm taking off for my Mother's birthday my father is taking off too"

I nodded "you're taking your tablet yeah?"

He shook his head "that can't leave the palace its royal property"

"S-so I can't contact you for 2 days...?"

He hesitated but nodded "yes I'm sorry I know but when I come back it's my shift I'll be with you" he tried to make it sound better "but on the plus side Dimitri is covering for me and I've told him to keep an eye out for you okay?"

I nodded but looked away "Alexis come on please don't be upset with me" I looked back at him only because he used my first name

"I-I'm not upset you deserve time with your family" I smiled weakly

"Don't panic as soon as I get back to the palace I'm coming straight back to you" he rubbed my arm I nodded and hugged him he gladly hugged back I pulled away putting on a brave face

"Tell your mother I said hi"

He smiled I think maybe he believed my plastered on happiness "I will thank you my Queen"
