Alexis's pov

I walked down for dinner I was half way down the stairs when I stopped Ethan paused behind me

I watched Henry waddle himself through the great hall my lip twitched

"Majesty?" I snapped around looking at Ethan "you stopped...?" He frowned

I turned back around and licked over my teeth making a click debating whether to go back and take Harry with me

I left him in the room because he's remaking my bed he said he'd only be a minute he had to do it before maids could come in to make sure nothing of his was in my bed

I kept walking he'd be back shortly I opened the door keeping my gaze away from Henry

The servant set pasta in front of me I nodded a thank you and took a bite

Whining hearing Henry's loud obnoxious slurping

"Sugar?" I looked up from my plate

"Yes cerdo?" I set my fork down not like I could eat looking at him anyway

"I come to realize it's been 4 years and you've not once had a pregnancy" he took another bite he chewed maybe twice then preceded to talk again looking down to his roasted chicken to start picking it apart "sluts I've slept with have had to have abortions to be rid of a bastard child you've given me no children ,but the trash that you dragged in" I felt sick to hear him say that I still wasn't over that loss of my poor Annalise it made my breath hitch

the clear answer to the no pregnancy was I took pills that probably weren't available to those women mine was 100% affective ,and expensive, which I thank the lord for

"And your point being?" I swallowed hard

"Well it is necessary to have a child, to have an heir so that means you've got to get pregnant" I covered my mouth to keep down my growing urge to vomit

"But you hate kids especially infants" I rushed

"Yes I hate them but it is necessary" he swallowed finally but then stuffed his face again I shuttered at his cracking of the chicken bones

"w-when would you w-want a child?" Fear was heating me up as if I was in an oven

"As soon as possible" he belched

"I see" I nodded "c-couldn't w-we wait a little longer? Y-you just got rid of Anna" my heart pounded and my eyes pricked with tears

"as I've said it's necessary so now" he threw down his picked clean chicken bone

"I understand" I stood up "as of now we can't m-my m-monthly as you must understand as soon as I'm well we'll..." I gagged

"Good" he nodded continuing to eat I walked out the door Harry was standing at the door he was more than likely forced to take Ethan's place

he followed behind as we got to the stairs I picked up speed I clutched my stomach and dry heaved as I got to the top step I ran to my room throwing the door open I ran to my bathroom and threw up in my sink unable to hold it any longer
