Alexis was sitting quietly in her throne while Henry gave bullshit answers to the citizens that had waited so long to talk to him to ask for help

"B-But sir I-I just need the line fixed m-my farm has no power..."

"And then why'd you break the line?" Henry asked rolling his eyes

The farmers jaw dropped "I-I didn't it was the storm"

"Well I don't care so-" Henry waved a hand the farmers eyes grew wide in horror

"Wait wait please you don't understand my-my daughters are passing out from heat exhaustion, my wife is cooking over a fire outside, we-"

"I'll have it repaired sir" I butt in "I'll see to it you have power personally" I smiled the guy looked so disheveled

"Oh Majesty thank you thank you thank you" he dropped to his knees chanting thank you Henry ordered him taken away so guards dragged him to the front door tossing him out and I felt bad I looked at Mike in the chair next to me I hate that he had to see that and I hate that that man was punished just for thanking me

"NEXT" a little woman walked forward

"I'm Fran and up I-I'm housing foster children in my home I have 2 at the moment ,along with my own 2 kids, and I've stopped receiving checks for them"

I cocked an eyebrow and opened my tablet

"Have you moved?"

"No my King"

"You're on the list of foster offenders on the 5th of January you were documented in a restaurant to have bought your own kids food then bought yourself food then passed the foster children you and your children's scrapes" I read off her profile then clicked the video and turned on the projection mode

I showed the video to everyone in the great hall then closed it out crossing out her face "you're no longer eligible to foster children because of your offense and will pay back the last 3 months support checks I aware those kids haven't been with you during that period of time good day"

She stood there "no no no I need that you don't understand"

"No I don't good day" I waved my hand and I guards took her away ,finally someone actually deserved to be taken away

"H-Hello um" a red headed, pale freckled teenage girl stepped up "I-I uh-"

"I don't have all day!" Henry growled

The poor girl was just nervous she was shaking like a puppy for Christ sake

"I'm sorry just-" she started to cry "m-my parents have gotten into an accident and I-I can't pay for my home and I have no where to go I have no relatives I don't know what to do"

My heat ached "that doesn't involve me you've wasted my time and the time of my court get out" Henry waved a hand

"Wait wait wait" I put a hand up "come here girl what's your name? How old are you?"

"Camila I'm 15" she stubble over I took her hand pressing it to the scanner on my tablet I looked over her record I saw average grades no disciplinary action

"Mmm I can let you work in the palace and you can sleep in the maids courters but this is a real job you can't bring friends here or anything like that" she nodded sniffling

"W-will I still be able to attend school?"

"Of course I'll arrange a bus to stop at the end of the field for you but that is a 15 minute walk and I won't be waking you up in the morning" I needed to seem stern I couldn't let Henry see me playing mother to his girl
