I shot a glance at the guards behind Alexis and I and I must say it feels strange to be walking by her side but over 3 months I've been gradually being more publicly affectionate toward Alexis we've been going out into the city a lot more, since Henry isn't around Alexis has visited farmers and orphanages offering help

Parents quickly took their kids apologizing to Alexis and the guards we walked through crowds Alexis blow kisses and waving as people cheered

"Step down" Alexis patted the guards shoulder but I stepped closer just in case he held out a box tied with a ribbon "what's this?" Alexis smiled knowing better than just to take it

"My brother in law made them it's the pretzel candies you like" Alexis gasped and hit the guard next to her he took the box and opened it confirming they were her candies she snatched the box and ate one

"Where is Gino?" She asked

"Oh he has the flu" he frowned

Alexis pouted "give him my absolute best wishes tell him I thank him and I expect more" she praised giggling

Alexis moved on she greeted more citizens receiving more gifts from them

I didn't hold anything I had Leah on my chest and I was holding Michael

"Here darling" she gave him one then looked at me she giggled and put a white one to my lips I ate it thanking her

"A panel for a dress ever since you matched your dress to Michael's embroidery on his jacket all the mothers are on the trend"
