Broken Memories and Open Secrets

Maya's pov
Being able to open up to a person can change parts of yourself mentally. Take advice from me, take a deeper look before giving that person your all. I was at home with my best friend killing our brain cells by watching tv. No one was home, except for us which didn't really bother me because I never get to spend time with her. I was into the show that I didn't realize Iris was talking to me until she turned off the tv. "Hey, it was getting to the good part. Let alone a girl and her fantasies." I growl as if I were a dog ready to attack.

"Maya, tomorrow's your big day with Aiden. Isn't that fascinating?" She jumped with joy. I give her a flat look before trying to turn on the tv again with the remote. Sadly, she snatched it from me, a pout forming on my lips. I've forgotten about the whole 'get-together' thing.

I shake my head. "Nope. Barry had found out and told me if he were to ever see me with Aiden, he would take him all the way across the world in the middle of nowhere and trap me inside this house until I'm 40." I said, popping popcorn in my mouth. What is it with brothers these days trying to be overprotective? Like back off man! Iris groaned and got off signaling that she was done arguing with me for today.

I can't even imagine being next to Aiden again. The feeling when our hands touch causing my whole body to light up like Christmas lights. I can't go through that again. The next day, I was starting to walk towards S.T.A.R. Labs noticing a tremendous hole in the ground. Did King Kong attack this building? I make my way inside, seeing not only my friends but my long distance friend from Starling City. "Maya!" She squealed and hugged me tightly.

"It's nice to see you too, Felicity." I breath out whatever air I can. She lets go and smiles at me. "Um, quick question why is there a whole in the ground?" They explain everything to me about a meta-human controlling bees to kill. Weird, who would want to control bees? I notice a man unfamiliar in the room. "Who is this?"

She turns to the stranger and runs up to him, holding his hand. "Oh. Maya, this is my boyfriend, Ray. Ray, this is my friend, Maya." He brings out his hand as I hesitantly shake it. When Caitlin treats him, we watch Ray carefully.

"He seems a little tall for you." Barry stated, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. I rub my chin as if I had a beard as big as Santa Clause.

Felicity turns towards him, saying "Barry Allen, are you jealous?" Mhm? My head snapped towards the both dumbfounded. "Jealous?" I ask. They both open their mouth to speak then close it. "Why would Barry be jealous?" I say, laughing a little.

They both turn away, making me gasp. "Nothing happened, Maya. Now go on away." Barry said, pushing my head away. This is not over with, I will find out what happened. Then, Cisco and Dr. Wells start to talk about Ray's suit and how successful it is. Ray started talking about trying to keep something up that is inappropriate causing Barry and I to put our hand over our face the same time. Suddenly, Ray asks if we could help.

"Any friend of The Arrow's is a friend—" Dr. Wells was cut off by Cisco. "Hell, yes." He grins happily, me rolling my eyes. Oliver will so not agree do this.

"Uh, guys. We kind of have a lot going on already." Barry said. "There's a meta-human that can control bees?" Felicity and Ray both look, Ray thinking how 'cool' it was. I stood next to my brother with my arms crossed, trying to figure out our conflict.

Finally, a thought crossed my mind. "How about we split in helping each other." I said as everyone stared at me discombobulated. "Um, what I mean is I think some of us should help you two with your current situation." I mention to Ray and Felicity. "And some will help with our situation." I smiled, feeling proud of myself for thinking of a well figured out idea.
