Maya's pov
Whats happening? My breath hitched as I didn't hear a voice or anything on the other end. "Barry are you there? Are you okay?" I ask, still kind of panicking.
"I think so." He stated causing me to sigh in relief. That's good. Just then a beep sound began, signaling that Ronnie had no radiation.
"Did it work? Did you separate them?" Cisco asked.
After a few seconds, he spoke, "I don't know." Really? Out of those ten seconds he came out with 'I don't know'. We heard Ronnie and Caitlin talking, informing us both the men were separated. "We're going home. All of us."
After everyone arrived at the lab, everyone greeted Ronnie while I went over to Barry. Him, thinking I was going to embrace him with a hug, when instead I slapped him on his arm. "I hate you, you know that?"
He shrugged, "Eh, you'll get over it." He patted my head, smiling while saying that. If only I could wipe that smile off his face.
"So, Maya?" I turned to see Ronnie. He was smiling, holding out his hand. "I'm glad to finally see you in person." He said.
Honestly, I can already tell we were going to be good friends. He was a laid back kind of guy. Good for you, Caitlin. "It's good to see you in...well you." He chuckled.
"Excuse me," our attention turns to Professor Stein. "Are we all planning to sing Kumbaya next?" We all stated with an 'oh.'
Everyone left, leaving me and Barry. "Ah, young love." I sighed, referring to Caitlin and Ronnie.
"You sound like you're a hundred years old." Barry rolled his eyes, me narrowing mine at him. Within a flash he was gone then appeared again, with a ice cream cone. Strawberry ice cream.
"Hey," I complained while he tried to offer me some. I was going to gladly take it until he sped off. "You know what, I didn't want to eat from you anyways!" I cross my arms and mutter, "Especially since I don't know where your dirty mouth has been."
This was how we showed our love to each other. Him always running away and me always chasing him. "I don't suppose you know where Mr. Allen went?" Stein asked.
"Probably finishing off the ice cream he had brought after he ran away." I shrugged as he gave me a confused face but nodded anyways.
"Are you older or is he?" He gestured between me and the idiot.
I shook my head, "Nope. He's older than me by two years." I said. "Except I'm more responsible." He chuckled. Barry came back, rubbing his stomach.
"Man, that was the best, most delicious, most fruity ice cream I ever had." He said rubbing it in my face. My eyes narrowed and my head shook at him. If only looks could kill.
He then realized Stein was here. "I was informed that you were suppose to take me home, Mr. Allen." He said.
Barry agreed and in a flash we were at Professors house. "Why did you have to bring me along?" I complain while he shrugged, walking away. Stupid kid.
"I'm just a little nervous. What should I say?" Stein asked.
I smiled "Don't worry. I don't think you're gonna have to say anything." Really, I don't think he does. Clarissa's been waiting for this moment.
He was confused at first until Clarissa came running out. I smiled at the couple. After the both thanked us, Barry and I thought we could walk for a little bit. So much was going through my mind. How the future is going to be like when all of us are older and grown.
"What's on your mind right now?" Barry snapped me out of my thoughts.
I sighed, "Just thinking about what is going to happen in the next couple of years." I find the future very strange. You don't know what will occur later on in your life.
