Chapter 2

Hunters POV

I parked my car and walked into the building and took my place next to Lord Hann. I didn't greet anyone, my mind was too distracted

''Mr Williamson, please approach'' he spoke and so he did ''please enlighten Hunter on the information you shared with me this morning''

He nodded and spoke ''there was a rumour around a new finding of a creature that was not from this land, everyone was very excited about it, I thought it was your Phoenix so I followed the rumour and I saw her, the vampire, staring and hissing at everyone that walked passed''

I held my hand up and he stopped speaking

''That is her'' I sighed ''what is the plan Lord Hann?'' I mocked ''send Williamson in to get a vampire and bring her here, rehabilitate her and ban her?'' I laughed

''No Hunter'' Lord Glacier spoke ''you will purchase her and keep her in your protection until we find her some place safe to be''

I wanted to protest but Lord Glacier held up his hand ''that is final''

I rose from my chair and then Lord Hann looked up at me ''this meeting is not finished Hunter, sit''

I groaned and sat

''We want your input Hunter on what she is like so we know what we can base the next move on'' Lord Hann spoke

''Alexa is violent...'' I shuddered at a few memories ''she is someone that the world would be better off without but she plays nice when she feels threatened and acts innocent'' my fists were balling and my knuckles turning white ''if she stays with me then Willow is in danger and so are you'' I snapped

''Us?'' Lord Nelth spoke ''why?''

''You drove them from the black market, the way they lived and Alexa witnessed things and that is why she mustn't come here'' I spoke

''Does she know you're on the council?'' Lord Nelth asked

''No'' I sighed ''or else I would have been the first of us to go''

''Then maybe she needs to be imprisoned?'' Lord Layla spoke and stood ''maybe she needs to be interrogated about the black market, its workings and who we need out in order for it to crumble''

There was silent chatter amongst the council and I closed my eyes

Baby, I will be home soon, things aren't going to well this side. Just be safe

I spoke through our link and I felt my mark beat faster, she was happy.

''Then it is decided'' Lord Hann stood and spoke ''Hunter will go and retrieve her from the cage and bring her back here''

I didn't even want to argue with Lord Hann but I knew that Willow will be unhappy.

I got in my car and drove home.

Willow POV

Hunter is upset, I can feel it. I hope the meeting wasn't that bad that he would need to vent out his anger on the walls again. I ran my fingers over the recent hole where he let out his anger after the one nightmare left him and I both speechless. When Hunter and I were making love the nightmares were at bay.

I dried off from my shower and I slipped my black mini flared skirt on with my long black socks and my white shirt on and I ran my fingers along my horns and I took my baby's brush and brushed my wings

''We haven't flown in a while'' I murmured to them ''I feel we might have the chance when Hunter is home''

I smiled as I looked in the mirror at my mark and then I remembered Hunter and me making love for the first time. The passion rose between my legs and I let my hand slide onto my sex and gently rubbed it. Mmmm I moaned to myself as I rubbed harder and my wings covered me on the chair, almost as if to shield me from the other elements that would distract me.

I slid a finger in myself and I moaned a little louder and then I kept going until the image of Hunter biting into me and releasing into me came into my mind and then I came, all over myself.

''Oh...'' I softly mumbled ''I better um...'' I looked in the mirror at my flushed cheeks ''rinse off''
