15. Protector, Survivor

Daniels POV

~2 months later~

We had told the limelights about what had happened and we didnt make up a stupid story we told the real story the one where Lauren had saved Zach from Madison and how Lauren had been unlucky and Madison had cut off her breathing and how Jonah had gotten rid of Madison and that we all loved them and there funerals would be public and they would be buried next to eachother

It was finally the day of their funerals and we all got dressed into our black suits "Remember when me and Zach had bought suits for no reason" Jack had said and we all laughed and nodded a few tears dripped down my face but i wiped them away as i remembered all the memories

We had arrived at the church and we all had to give a speech and I was first

"I was told to write a speech but honestly I don't want to use it I remember when Lauren had first shown us her house and I nearly got lost in the library and how she kept all the harry potter books in a glass cabinet like they were her most prised possession" I laughed whilst saying that" And when Zach had that sumo wrestling suit and he'd bounce around in it he was literally a five year old but always had a way of making people think he's eighteen I was told by him that if anything ever happened to him take care of Reese she's literally the sweetest kid I've ever known and she doesn't deserve to lose her brother at this age we all shared so many memories together and they're both in a better place now the last thing Lauren had gotten me was a watermelon and it was the biggest watermelon in America I still have it me and her knew eachother since we were in high school before she decided to stop using her voice and I hope they both have the best time in heaven the two love birds went through everything together" I finished and burst into tears when I walked back to my seat and the boys comforted me next was Jonah

"I wish I was a better brother for Lauren because I was barely there for her when we were little I was to obsessed with other things that I forgot to take care of my own sister and I'll always regret that I remember the first time I had seen Lauren in a year from that day on I had to protect her and thats why Madison is well isn't here right now but thats another story I remember zach was the first one to get her to speak and the little victory dance he did was amazing he was always pulling pranks on us and wearing mismatched shoes it was like something had clicked when he met Lauren because he seemed more alive and energetic than he had ever been and where we'd have to hide the megaphone from him" I laughed at this" Lauren had saved him one time when he was writing a suicide letter she had gotten to him first and she had always protected us even though she was the youngest one out of us all she had this fire inside of her that would leash out at anyone if they ever offended us she loved harry potter exactly like me and like Daniel said she had a cabinet especially for them and she'd protect it like a mother guarding her baby her and Zach were perfect for eachother they're probably playing around with eachother right now and I hope they had the best life" Jonah said and walked to his eat and tears streamed down his face as we all gave him a big hug

Soon enough it was time to bury their coffins and Jonah had asked if they could write a word on each of their burial stones
