Chapter 16: Party

I turned on my speaker and listened to sad music while I cried into my cat fur.

Eventually I stopped crying a few hours later. My cat wasn't there no more. I got up and rubbed my eyes. '8:00pm' the clock said. I went into my bathroom and started to run a bath. I stripped from all my clothing and got in the bath. The water was still running.

I laid downed while the tub was still filling with hot steaming water. When the tub got high enough I turned it off with my foot. The sound of just a living thing moving in a little pool of water was the only sound that filled the air.

I tried turning on music to try to make me happier or less sad. I turned on the radio on my phone and listened to 'Party in the USA' by Miley Cyrus. I was mouthing the words along with the song while I had my eyes closed. The song was over and the next song that played was 'Thousand Years' by Christina Perri. I immediately sit up and cry into my hands.

I turned off the music, throwing my speaker at my wall. I pulled the drain, letting the water run down. I dried off with my towel and saw that Jack texted me.

Jack: Hey! There is a party tonight. Coming?

Jack: It'll be fun! Come on!

Me: Fuck it. I'll be there. Time?

Jack: 10... oh and it's at Jalyns house

I died my hair and picked out some clothes. A navy blue crop top and light blue ripped jeans. Also getting all black converse. I did a natural makeup look. By the time I was done I saw it was 9:45 and knowing it was probably a 10 minute drive.

I grabbed my car keys and walked down stairs. My dad was sitting in the kitchen with his hands in his hands. He looked up. "have fun." He said not looking at me. I nodded and walked out the garage door closing it while I walked out of it.

I finally arrived at the house but parked a few miles down from the house. I saw Skyla and her bitchy friends standing with a few other people, and Daniel. He waved and smiled. I just rolled my eyes and kept walking.

Once I walked in the house I automatically got a small headache from the strong alcohol smell. I walked in further in the house trying to find any of my friends. While trying to find them a few drunk guys came behind me, trying to get me to dance with them.

I just rejected them and continued to try to find them. I saw Mary, July, and Zach by the beer pong table, playing. I was stood by Zach and July's side of the table and laughed at how hard they were being beat by just Mary.

Mary can take about 2,00 shots and not get drunk at all. I saw July becoming a little drunk and Zach pretty much drunk. I saw that there were shots 3 shots just sitting out. I never drink but I guess I thought I needed it.

I took the shots without no expression. I looked back at the table and saw that July and Zach had a shocked looked on there faces. I smile. "That's my girl!" Mary came towards me and hugged me. I'm only here for my friends.

They all looked away eventually. Mary won and Zach and July acted shocked, when they knew they were gonna lose. "Damn!" Zach said and threw the ball at some random girl. We acted like we didn't do it. After she looked away we laughed like little boys.

I turned out drunk by an hour into the party. Somehow me and Zach started making out. July tapped my shoulder and drunkly pointed in a direction. Daniel looked at me disgusted. He looked away and started taking to his "friends".

"Are you ok?" Zach said in my ear. "Not sure," I said, still acting like I was having the time of my life. I really wasn't. I felt a hand grip my wrist hard. The anonymous person took me outside. The person turned me to face them. It was Daniel. He had a mean look on his face.
