Chapter 13: Trouble

It was from Daniel.

Daniel 😒: Hey. Can we FaceTime?
Rilee: sure.....

He FaceTimes me and I answer. "Hey," I say not showing my face. "Hey. So I just want to start of by saying sorry about today. I was hurt that you pushed me away," their was an awkward silence for a bit.

"Wait. So you went to the hill to make me jealous?" I questioned. "Yes.... and no. I actually like Skyla. And I know she likes me." "Oh! Cool," I felt my heart shatter a little.

I know Skyla. She is a hoe and will sleep with anyone in the school, even the kid who eats his boogers and names them. Plus, she has a boyfriend. He doesn't seem to care. He just watches her do everything that she does.

"I-I'm happy for you," I roll my eyes. "Can we still be friends?" Daniel asked. "Sure." "Great I'll see you tomorrow!" He hangs up.

It's not gonna be the same now. It's going to be awkward and shit.... Jesus. He is so blind to see that once they fuck they won't talk ever again. I think he wants to like the "most prettiest" girl in school. I should just get some sleep.

"Bye mom! Love you!" I close the front door and walk to school. I don't go to my usually spot where me and my friends meet up. Zach and Daniel are there.

So I just go to the bathroom and camp out in there till the beep rings. Mary walks in the bathroom. (a/n if you don't remember who that is, she is one of the friends she meets up with in the beginning of the book. Where she meets up with July and the rest of them.)

She gives me a weird look and washes her hands. She finishes and drys her hands while I'm on my phone.

"Hey what's wrong? Why aren't you out there with us?" She ask. I tell her everything that has been happening.

"Do you want me to get July?" "No. I don't want to be a problem. I just kinda want to be left alone. I have a lot on my mind right now," I say holding my back pack straps.

"Oh ok. If you need one of us to talk too, just text us and we will be there right as we can," she says and I hug her. She waves.

*BING! BING! BING!*

Off to first hour. Yay.

I get in the cafeteria where I have lunch with July so I sit with her.

"Where were you this morning?" She said shoving pizza in her mouth. "I was late," I say opening my milk carton.

"Ohhhhh ok." She says as she looks up. Her eyes open wide. "Code 3," she says taping my shoulder. "What I don't know what that means," I sounded angry there, oops.

"Omg we need code names for 'slut coming our way'" I look up and see Skyla and her stereotypical friends with her.

So this is a true story. My elementary school bully was name Skyla so it's easier to remember her name that way.

But I'm tired and shit so Ima head to bed.
