chapter 35?

it's been a few years now. i'm in college, and gladly still friends with jack, sky, and daniel. i haven't talked to jonah since the day he left.

did i forget to mention, im happily together with zach.

well i dunno about happily, more like ok with it. i realized that zach was there for me all a long. he was there for me before jonah. he was the guy i first ever liked. he was the guy i lost my v card too.

i would be lying if i said i didn't miss jonah, every bone in my body wonders if he is still out there.

happy, married, father, and a great job.

i went to the store to grab a few things for me and zach's apartment. i walked down the cereal aisle and grabbed some fruit loops. i walked down a little more and looking to the side of me.

seeing a tall brown haired man. he looked familiar, just can't put my finger on it. i continued looking for coco puffs.

i feel the tall man standing next to me. he was oddly close.

"can you move?" i ask and he gives me a disgust look. he stares at me for a sec and opens his mouth in shock. "rilee?" he ask. i nod. "oh my god! it's jonah!" once he says that my eyes open wildly.

i grab the coco puffs. "i gotta go. my boyfriend is waiting for me at home." he grabs my wrist and turned me around.

i missed his touch. his lips. his smile. i miss everything. but i can't. i'm happy with zach.

"who are you dating?" he ask, shoving his hands in his pocket. "zachary herron. you had him," i say not making eyes contact. he nods and smiles. "glad to see him happy. well i have to go. my wife is waiting for me in the car," he waves bye and a wave of relief over came me.

i'm happy that he's happy. i'm not. but i have to suck it up and be happy with zach.

i pay for the stuff and leave the store..
