i burst through my bedroom door. i rushed to the bed and flopped stomach first on it. i turn around and crying, looking up to my ceiling.
hearing footsteps walking around me, making me look up to see who it was. "hey, hey." my aunt says. afterwards feeling the bed sink. the only thing i do is sigh and keep my eyes on the ceiling. i sat up and my aunt started to rub my back up and down.

"what's-"
"i don't understand people anymore." i say, cutting her off. "well honey, i don't either. but i mean everyone is different. your gonna understand a few people, and not to others." she says in a calm voice.

"well it seems that i chose everyone that i won't be able to understand." i slouch and sigh. "opposites attract. right?" she ask me.

"i guess. i just want to be friends with someone and they not care what i do. you know?" i ask, looking to her. she shrugs. "not really. cause if i do something really bad and it could ruin my reputation, i want them to tell me wrong so i can fix it the next time i try doing something like that." she pats my back and gets up.

"where are you going?" i ask.
"i did my job," she smiled at me. she leaves and closes my door. i shut my eyes, tears falling out.

walking down the sidewalk of my aunts apartments, looking down at the concrete. thinking. recapping. so much has been on my mind lately.

i had to walk today, even though it was a 30 mins walk. i had too. my aunt was already at work, and skyla is pissed at me.

i listened to the cars driving pass, watching them pass. skylas barbie pink car stopped abruptly by me. she rolled down her window. "what?" i ask, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. she pulls her phone out and shows me a tweet.

i roll my eyes. "so i'm not the first one to find out?"skyla sternly ask. "no! but she found out on her own! i didn't tell her!" i defend. "ugh! i'm so mad!" skyla yells.

"i'm sorr-"
"no! it's not you! who uses that kind of heart and not the emoji one!" she says. we both burst out laughing. "we good now. right?" she nods. she motions her head to the passengers seat and i run over to the side.

we get into school, seeing daniel leaning against the wall. he looks over and sees us. he rushes over.

"did you hear about mr. marais? he's in a relationship with a student!" daniel says. sky looks over to me. "you don't know that! it was a freshy that has no knowledge in life. she could be lying," sky says and daniel shrugs.

"i guess you're right, but jonah is getting questioned by the principal." i look at sky with a worried look. "guys i gotta go. i left a few things in my locker!"
"but you didn't rent a locker this year !" daniel laughs.

"i meant my friends locker, we share one so i just consider it mine!" i say walking backwards, smiling awkwardly.

i rush over to jonah's class room. our principal and jonah were stopped talking once i hit his class. "what is it you need?" the principal asked, tapping his foot.

"i had a few questions with my homework," i unzip my back pack. he nods and me and jonah go in his class, i shut the door so the principal couldn't hear.

"oh! my! god! how did the principal find out?" i act like i was asking him questions.

"the girl showed her tweet to the principal. it's not good for us."
"i know but just keep calm and everything will be fine." i waved bye and walked out, smiling at the principal once i walked by.

"wait so you're the student!?" daniel yelled. i covered his mouth.

"shhhhh! don't get me caught!" you say, whisper yelling. he mouthed 'sorry' and just shoved another chip in his mouth. "do you kno-"
"yes i know what can happen. but i'm taking the risk," i say and daniel smiles. "how sweet," daniel 'awh'.

"guys! look," sky points behind me and daniel. i turn around and see jackly walking towards me.

"how's your day been?" she sassily ask. "great! but do i know you?" i ask, seeing her phone; trying to get the truth. "yeah! i'm the girl who found you with-" sky pushes me out the way and punches jackly, knocking her out.

"holy shit." sky says under her breathe. "we should get going." sky says as she takes off her heals, getting ready to dash away.

me, sky, and daniel burst out the front doors. we hopped in sky's car and sped off.
