Chapter 26

We walk into the hospital to see a few people crying and a few people pacing. We see Daniels Mom. We walk towards her and she had dried tears on her face, showing by her makeup.

"Hey. I'm glad you came," she said crossing her arms, not being rude. She was wearing lose jeans, flip flops, a white t shirt, and a sweater.

"It's no problem! I wanted to see him," I say reassuring her. She uncrossed her arms and smiled.

She motions her hands saying 'this way'. Me and Skyla follow her.

Daniels Mom opens the door and steps to the side waiting for us to walk in first. Once we do she closes the door behind us, she wasn't in here with us.

"Hello?" Daniel says lowly. I felt my heart break into two. He sounded hurt. Skyla walks into the room further. I look around the corner and see Skyla walking up to him. They hugged. "I'm so sorry Daniel," she says as a sob leaves her mouth. "No. It's my fault." I couldn't walk any further once he said that.

My heart. It hurt. But he was more hurt than a hurting heart. So I walked in not being selfish.

"Hey," I wave. He looks up and smiles bigger. "I'd hope you'd be here." I just smile putting my hand up to my mouth, trying to keep my cries in.

"Give me a hug." I walked up to him letting a laugh leave my mouth. I hug him and it lasted a while. I let go and my tears were now flowing out of my eyes like a waterfall. He wiped my tears and I smiled shyly.

"I'm so sorry." A tear comes out of his eyes.

"Daniel, shut up. It's my fault. The reason why were her is because I was mad about about stupid. I shouldn't have pushed you away. Im so sorry." Once I say that Daniel 'shh's' me.

"Stop. We all need to stop blaming ourself. It was my fault. I took your reaction to far. I shouldn't have," He says not letting his eyes leave mine.

"Guys! It was all of our faults. You got mad at Daniel which made him come to me. I shouldn't have done anything with him, but I did! And then I blamed you for fucking his best friend. You hooked up with Zach at the party which boiled Daniels blood, making him fight back more. But the day you went into a coma was Annie's fault. Yes, jack hit you super hard making you pass out. But if Annie didn't kiss Daniel then Daniel wouldn't be in a coma. Just badly bruised. We all regret! Can't we just put this shit behind us and get back at Annie?! She still likes you! And your still super popular just not with Jacks friends. Let's get your group back together! Ok?" She says with tears running down her face.

We nod and she laughs. "Thank god!"

"I'm able to leave on Saturday. So 3 days. I can still walk and talk. I didn't lose anything. I hope I didn't."

"Ok well me and Rilee are gonna go get some clothes to come back on Monday being the hottest girls in school!" She laughs. And Daniel I smile. I'm happy to see Daniel smile.

"See you later Dani!"
"Bye beauties!" Me and Skyla laugh.

Sorry for super short chapter. Tomorrow's chapter will be a lot longer. IM ACTUALLY HAPPY  TODAY! I didn't fake a smile! Today had been the best day of my life since April of last year! I hope May goes a lot better than April. And I hope the same for you guys 💖
