The Tail of Audrey and Aryella

I didn't get any sleep last night, I mostly was writing, reading, wondering and I'm pretty sure that I'm not getting any sleep tonight either. Why? You won't understand unless I start from the beginning...

After breakfast I told Dad that I was going to explore the shops on the boardwalk, you know, to map out our new home, but really I was going to buy a swimsuit, beach towel, and some water resistant temporary hair dye, today was the day I was going to find out who I, Audrey Sondra, am. That's right; I was going to go swimming for the first time in my life! Once I got my things I went to a porta-potty close to the ocean (it stank so much) and changed into my bathing suit and dyed my black hair blonde (or tried to, it turned out to be dirty blonde instead) and braided my hair, uncomfortable since I usually wear it down, when I looked at myself in my little hand mirror I thought that I would look exactly like this if I got my looks from Dad, I kept my bangs loose but dyed them to, trying to get them dyed without getting any in my emerald green eyes. Once I was done I through my beach towel over my shoulder and put on my sunglasses so no one suspected anything. I walked out onto the beach I felt drawn to the water. I put my sunglasses and towel in pile behind a rock, then I walked into the water.

As I waded out into the sea my legs shivered but it wasn't from the cold I could tell, the feeling was almost familiar, I walked far enough to put my head under water, then it happened, my legs shook and then stopped and fastened together like someone had numbed them and then duct taped them together, then my neck suddenly felt like something was digging its claws into my neck cutting it open in three places on each side, the water was churning all around me like I was in the middle of a whirlpool! I fell to the ground gripping it for dear life I was holding my breath for so long I thought I was going to faint! Then I let a teeny breath out and everything stopped. The water calmed and I touched my neck to make sure it was fine, it was fine, then I felt it, gills! I had gills! I raised my and looked over the sandbank I was behind, and then I saw her. It was official, she looked exactly like a mermaid and I'm... I'm... I'm one too.

I couldn't believe it, I was a MERMAID! With a beautiful purple and pink tail! MUST. NOT. PANIC. No time she's swimming away! I started to follow her, I had to duck behind things every so often so she wouldn't see me. We swam for what seemed to be HOURS! I don't know how, but I'm a natural! (At swimming) Finally we got to this breathtaking underwater palace with blue stained glass towers and coral and crystal as a base, how am I supposed to get in there?! Sure it's pretty but it's guarded like a fortress! Even with this obstacle in my way I just had to get in! Somehow I needed to get inside! Well lucky me because she swam past the guards and slipped through a crack in the wall, and I followed. I came out on the other side of the wall and found myself under a large (XXXL) bed, I looked outside her window, OH MY GOODNESS! I hope no one saw me go in and not out because based off of the water's color it wasDUSK?! Dad was probably worried sick! And I haven't had a chance to talk with this... this... this... this CLONE! And now she's leaving her bedroom. GREAT. Just Great! Great. Just Great. Now I'm going to have to wait until she returns.
