Quinn sighed as she wheeled herself into the hospital behind Camila. She had decided to do the surgery and prayed that it worked.

Camila stopped and turned, bending down to look into Quinn's eyes. She took the younger girl's hand. "It'll work, I'll be here the whole time."

"What if it doesn't work? What if this is a mistake and this was all for nothing?" The blonde responds with a sad expression.

Camila reached up and cupped Quinn's cheek. "It'll work."

Taking a deep breath, Quinn nods her head. "Okay."

Camila smiled softly. "Think positive."

An hour later, Quinn is laying in the hospital bed, waiting to be set up for surgery.

Camila ran her fingers through Quinn's hair and kissed the top of Quinn's head. "Everything is going to be okay." She said softly.

"Okay." Quinn breathes out, just as the door to her room opens and a beautiful dark-haired brunette walks in.

Quinn bit her lip nervously, her stomach churned with anxiety.

"Hello Mrs. Fabray-Cabello, my name is Demi, I'm going to be your physical therapist after you've healed from surgery." The nurse says walking closer.

Quinn frowned in confusion. "More physical therapy? It didn't work the first time."

"This will help you get used to moving your leg again." Demi responds with a wide smile.

Quinn nodded once, shifting on the bed. She was having second thoughts about the surgery.

"After surgery, you need a month to heal and then three months of therapy." Demi says, beginning to explain things to the blonde.

Quinn nodded, pretending to understand everything Demi was telling her. She honestly didn't care. She just wanted to go home and eat. She was starving, Camila hadn't let her eat anything all of the previous night and that morning because in Camila's words: "You aren't supposed to eat anything within twelve hours of surgery."

When Quinn woke up after surgery, she found Camila asleep with her head on the pillow.

A tired smile crossed her face before she remembered what she'd just been through. Her stomach growled loudly.

Camila jumped awake and looked at Quinn. "Hey, I'm going to let the doctor know you're up and see if you can eat."

Quinn nodded slowly, a yawn leaving her mouth. Her stomach growled again.

Kissing her head, Camila stands up and leaves the room.

Quinn let out a quiet groan while Camila was out of the room. Her leg was killing her but she didn't want Camila to see her in so much pain.

"You feeling okay?" Demi asked with a soft smile, she was standing in the doorway.

Quinn jumped slightly, turning her head to look at Demi. She nodded. "Just tired and hungry." She lied. She was in pain but she didn't want to tell anyone. She wanted to seem strong.

"It's okay to admit that you're hurting." Demi says with a soft smile.

Quinn shook her head. "I'm not in pain. I'm hungry."

Rolling her eyes, Demi laughs softly. "I have pain meds for you, but if you don't need them-" she begins backing out of the room.

"Wait!" Quinn whimpered. "I need them." She admitted.
