"So this is spot and he needs his measurements for the ball" I told Ellie as spot and I crawled into the window of ellies bedroom. Spot looked like he didn't know what to do with himself. Lots of looking around.
Ellie inhaled loudly "addy! You were right he is incredibly handsome"
I nearly choked on my own spit when she said that. My whole face turned bright red.
Spot smirked and looked down at me "you been talkin about me?"
I couldn't hide my embarrased smile and I just shoved him to the side a little. He went on smirking but i think I saw a little smile somewhere in there.
"Ellie, can you please just measure spot up for his suit."
"Sure doll" ellie gave me an exaggerated wink, I shook my head and smiled while looking down. Ellie whipped out her measuring tape, a piece of paper, and a pen. "Alright come here spot" he went over and she started her measuring. "So addy tells me all about how your the king is Brooklyn and you saved her from her distressful state, kind of a knight in shining atomic moment."
Spot looked over at me and smirked "oh yeah, does she?"
"Um no I don't" I say trying to stand my ground but failing because Ellie is pretty much trained on how to keep a conversation going. That school for an upper class girl.
"Don't be silly addy. And I'm sure you guys are getting along well together?" She asks in spot direction. I'm actually interested to hear this answer too.
"Besides being stubborn she's not hard ta tolerate" spot smirked at me. I have him a challenging smile.
Ellie finally finished spots measurements. "Alright I'm gonna take these over to miss Nancy, oh and addy, your dress in ready in her shop when your ready for it."
"Thanks ell" I pulsing wait to see my dress. We picked it up on the way back to the lodging house. It was in a black carrier bag so I didn't see it until later. But when I did it was beautiful.
