While the others were still eating, some guests were done and already began conversing with others. The center of the ballroom was also free to anyone who felt like dancing.
Elizabeth decided to go to the bathroom to freshen up. As she walked towards the bathroom, she was abruptly stopped by something pulling her back and a sound of something ripping.
She looked back as she saw one of the guests that accidentally stepped on her dress.
She was an old lady with heels and Elizabeth's dress was damaged because of it. "I'm so sorry." The lady apologized, "It's alright, I'll go check it out in the bathroom." Elizabeth smiled before leaving.
Diane was nearby, talking to someone and she saw what happened. "Excuse me, I'll be back." Diane excused herself and went after Elizabeth.
When she arrived at the bathroom, Elizabeth was in front of the mirrors, looking at her dress. "It's ripped." She stated, then looked at Diane.
Diane looked worried, "You can't go out there looking like that, you have to be presentable in front of everyone. No rips, no slips."
Elizabeth sighed, "I know, but I can't really go out and change."
"I'll go tell someone about it, you stay here, okay?" Diane told Elizabeth and she nodded. "I'll be back."
As soon as Diane left the room, Elizabeth looked back at her reflection. "I didn't think I needed to be that presentable tonight."
You'd expect Elizabeth to look amazing and goddess-like, but she wasn't. Out of everyone out there, Elizabeth wasn't wearing any make up and she didn't do anything with her hair. She just used the dress and fixed up and left.
Elizabeth remembered Diane's worried expression when she saw her. Elizabeth smiled at her new found friendship that she always wanted when she was in elementary.
Are you sure you trust her completely?

Diane walked passed a few people, looking for King. For her luck, she bumped into him. King turned to her with a smile while Diane was looking worried.
King put down his drink and held Diane's shoulders. "Hey, is everything okay?"
"Elizabeth's dress was ripped and well, is there any chance?" Diane didn't have to finish her sentence. "I got it, come with me."
The two of them left and headed to one of the rooms on the second level. "Where are we going?" Diane asked.
"We're going to the tailor room. It's where everyone got their clothes today." King explained, Diane nodded in amazement.
"Who designed them?" Diane asked, King chuckled. "Mother dear doesn't go unnoticed when it comes to occasions like these."
"I picked the designs for you and the others. Orange oddly suits you." King smiled, not looking at Diane. Also not realizing the compliment he just gave.
Diane blushed thanks to the compliment that was given to her by King. "W-well yeah, thanks."
"We're here." Diane and King stood in front of a huge door with sophisticated designs. King opened the door and it revealed thousands of fabrics and sewing machines.
There were racks everywhere that had dresses and tuxedos and other clothes that suited every occasion.
"My mom made 2 designs for Elizabeth," King rummaged through a few dresses, looking for the other dress that was made for Elizabeth. Diane did the same, but she just looked at other dresses.
