Royale

A week later, the students found themselves asleep in their private planes on the way to Paris, France. 

"We'll be there in an hour, Mr. & Mrs. Drakon." The pilot said through the intercom.

"Wake up, Meliodas." Zafina Drakon, Meliodas' mother lightly shook her son. "You heard the man, there's another hour until we get there." Meliodas said through his pillow. 

"Are you even asleep, son?" Zafina laughed, "Shh." Meliodas shushed his mom, while Zafina sighed.

"Are you gonna be dancing with Elaine?" A little pale blue haired girl popped beside her brother. 

Ban, who was drinking nothing, did a spit take. "Whoa little sister, when did you care about my love life?" 

The little girl laughed, "Did I say love life?" You could literally see the cat mouth the girl was doing. Ban face palmed, "I taught you too much, Kilia."

"I heard someone say Love life~" Ban's mother, Katherine came walking in.

"C'mon, mom. When you hear the word love, you get here as if it's your calling." Kilia laughed, making her mother laugh as well. "Well played, daughter." 

"Anyway, We're landing soon." Katherine reminded her children. "Where are we gonna stay? Are we staying with the Royales? Or are we gonna go to a fancy hotel?" Kilia said with enthusiasm seeping through her veins.

"For the event, the Royales were kind enough to let a few of their guests to stay in their guest houses. And the Devoss family was one of the families picked." 

"So, once we get there, we sleep?" Ban asked, Katherine nodded. "You got that right." Ban, Katherine and Kilia laughed.

As for the Royale family, they were busy doing preparations for the guests and the venue. As their name relates to: Royalty. Their mansion wasn't like any other, it was like a castle on the outside, and inside was modernized with a touch of the olden times.

"Remember to look your best and be properly behaved, okay?" Eleanor, King and Elaine's mother reminded them as they walked down the halls to greet their incoming guests. 

"The event doesn't start until tonight, right mother?" Elaine asked, King checked his phone. "It's still 9 am." Their mother nodded, watching the main door open by their butlers.

The doors revealed the 7 families that were invited to stay in their home. 

"Welcome, everyone."

Drakon, Devoss, Liones, Viper, Veta, Blanc and Pendragon. The 7 families picked by the Royales to stay in their guest rooms. 

"Please take their luggage, George." King told one of the butlers as he nodded and called for others to get their guests' luggage. 

 "Liza Liones." Eleanor smiled, as the first adult to get out of their cars. "Eleanor!" Liza came in to give her a hug. 

"How's everything at the castle?" Eleanor sighed, "Liza, it's not a castle." 

"Looks like one though." Katherine came walking towards them. Eleanor pinched the bridge of her nose. "We'll continue this later. King, Elaine, please show our guests where they'll stay." 

"Yes, mother." The two siblings said in unison. "Mr & Mrs. Drakon, Devoss, Liones and Viper, please follow me. Elaine will show the rest of the guests." King smiled at everyone as they nodded.

Everyone had separate guest houses. It was as if they had their own houses in the Royale estate. 

The houses were in order, the first one was for the Drakon family, and the rest continued. "These will be the houses you will be staying in for the next three days. If you need anything, feel free to use the tablet near the door and report any problem. The butlers will be on their way."  

"Any questions?" King asked in a confident tone, as if he wasn't a sleepy head in school. He was a totally different person. 

"There will be none." Zafina smiled at King. "You're getting better, King." A woman chuckled, King smiled at the woman. "Thank you, Mrs. Viper." 

"If there are no questions, enjoy your stay." King bowed and started to walk off as everyone entered their houses.

"And here, you will stay!" Elaine finished with a smile. "Thank you, Elaine." Merlin thanked the girl as she smiled, "If you need anything else, you know how to call. I'll be going now~" Elaine waved and walked away. 

Merlin, Arthur and Gowther's parents went in first as the three stayed outside for a while.

"She's one lively girl." Merlin chuckled, "I mean you used to be too." Arthur chuckled, Merlin rose her brow.

"Arthur, are you sure? I was the girl who literally had her nose in books." Merlin smirked, "Until I knew you had some crazy ideas." Arthur laughed. 

Merlin remembered the days when she and Arthur went out about to hang out and Merlin was the first one to think of some crazy idea. She rubbed off on Arthur and now once she grew out of it, Arthur was the one who took over. 

Merlin covered Arthur's mouth, "Don't get me started." Arthur laughed at Merlin, "See you later, Ms. Veta" Arthur made an obnoxious bow, "Your father would slap your back" Merlin chuckled. 

"A risk." Arthur continued to laugh. Both of them not noticing Gowther standing behind them, watching the two. "you lovers disgust me." 

"Lovers?"

"Did you see Elaine? She's so pretty~" Kilia laughed around Ban, "Why won't you go see her?" Kilia asked as she pestered her brother, who was on the bed, already half asleep. 

"Sleep comes first, I wouldn't want to fall asleep seeing her~" Ban said through his pillow.

Kilia pouted, "fine." she then left and went out to see Meliodas about to knock on the door. "No chance, big brother's asleep." 

Meliodas chuckled, "You really are Ban's little sister." Kilia smiled proudly and ran back inside. Meliodas knew he'd get nothing from trying to wake Ban up, so he just closed the door and left. 

"I could get some fresh air." One thing about the Royale Mansion, they had some amazing gardens.
