The next day, most of the students over slept. No one was forcing them to wake up early. There was no proper breakfast call, they were just supposed to go to the dining hall and eat.
Today was also the day that Diane was going to try on King's designs, and she was really excited. King texted Diane what time they'd meet, it was after lunch at 1 pm.
Since King knew Diane, or any of the others would be awake by 9 in the morning.

"You're what?" Elizabeth asked, sitting next to Diane, eating their breakfast-lunch. Elizabeth, Diane and Merlin decided that they'd eat together.
"Oh? Do you fancy him?" Merlin smirked, making Diane blush. "No.."
Merlin looked intently at Diane who flinched, "Okay maybe a little." Diane whispered, making Merlin and Elizabeth chuckle.
"What is it?" Diane asked, confused. "We've noticed for a while." Elizabeth giggled,
"What?! Am I that obvious?" Diane asked them, worried. She was planning on telling him as a surprise, but if she was obvious, what was the point.
"Actually, It's not that noticeable." Merlin answered, making Diane sigh in relief.
"How long have you liked King?" Elizabeth asked, Diane shushed her with her napkin. "Not so loud!"
"Sorry," Elizabeth paused, she then proceeded to whisper. "so?"
"For a long time actually, maybe ever since the first year of middle school?" Diane smiled, making the other two girls look at each other.
"Crush?" Elizabeth asked, Merlin gave Elizabeth a look. "How can that be a crush still?"
"Right," Elizabeth nodded, then looked at Diane. "Do you love him?"
Elizabeth looked like an innocent child wanting to know about love, when in reality, she would possibly give the best love advice as a single lady.
Diane never actually thought of it, does she love King?
"I.. don't know." Diane answered, making Merlin and Elizabeth rise their brow.
"How come?" Merlin asked, making Diane look at her.
"I'm not quite sure what love is." Diane admitted, sighing. "Is this just an infatuation? Is it true love? I don't know. There are things I yet have to know."
Merlin leaned on her chair, "That is true, we never know what love really is."
"Maybe you do know what love is and just can't see it yet?" Elizabeth asked, not that anything she said made sense.
"Love is undefined, right?" Elizabeth smiled at the two, making them smile as well.
"Maybe you're right, who knows, I might know after later." Diane laughed.

"Well, i'm off to meet King. I'll text you guys later." Diane waved goodbye and went on to look for King in the tailor room.
The two girls were left alone, waving at Diane as she left.
Merlin turned to Elizabeth, "It's been long since we've been alone together, just the two of us."
Elizabeth looked at her and smiled, "Yeah, it has."
"But it's fun to have more friends." Elizabeth gave Merlin a grin, making Merlin smile.
