Chapter II

Kiss

Sports feast begins tomorrow. We have one more day left to prepare. Our class was almost done with the preparations. The month has been going smoothly. I've managed to spend a good time with Jeremy since we're always together. I gained new friends, they're mostly from his group. They were a bunch of goofy unique people, they had different personalities but despite everything, they all get along. I bonded with them and I formed a good camaraderie with each one of them.

Isabelle "Belle" Miller –– Girly, fashionable and sassy. She's pretty much one of those typical popular girls, the only thing that distinguished her from the rest of them was that she wasn't a drama queen and a bitch.

Rowena Parker ––  a tomboy, yet inside she has a soft spot for cute things. Loves music and she's said to be "one of the boys"; the best friend of Isabelle. A sister to Roland.

Roland Blaze Parker –– he's a year ahead all of us. He flunk a grade, Jeremy told me that he did it on purpose for the sake of watching over his sister, Rowena. He's actually smart, rank 3rd in our class.

Clifford Storm "Ford" Ashton –– he's cold, blunt and mysterious. Jeremy's best friend. He's only close and nice to the people inside the group and treats the rest with hostility. The moment I was introduced to their group, he immediately warmed up to me.

I'm quite surprised how I managed to get friends in such a short period of time. They were part of the sports festival committee, the cool kids from our class, they easily accepted me into the clique, I was an additional to their coolness.

We rehearsed for our drama. The play we chose was Sleeping Beauty, a modern one, much more suitable for people our age. And guess who got the lead roles? At first, it was really awkward when I found out that I'll be playing it with him. But as time passed by, I became comfortable doing intimate scene with Jeremy. Everyone gave their approval, teasing us that we looked good together.

Since it's a five-day event, we will be playing other stories. It's all fairy tale themed. Little red riding hood; Rowena got the lead role, she got giddy and thrilled, immediately accepting the role without hesitation. Then there's Beauty and the beast; Roland and Isabelle are the lead, there was an ongoing joke about how Belle easily got the role of the beauty due to her name being Belle. The other plays were Alice in wonderland and Snow white.

It was an obligatory thing for the committee to play parts on the feast. The only one who didn't join the theatre play was Ford but he was assigned to the props management. Everyone was chill and things were organized due to the good leadership Jeremy showed.

The day of the Annual sport festival came. We were all prepared to do the play. On the first day, our class presented Little red riding hood, it will be played three times; morning, afternoon and the final encore will be on the late afternoon.

There was a class who organized a horror house, the group decided to enter. I wanted to protest but chose not to do it since everyone was fired up. I don't wanna ruin things for them.

"Let's go!" Rowena enthused, clasping her hands as she eyed each one of us. Isabelle, Roland, Ford and Jeremy followed. I stood frozen, having second thoughts whether I should enter or not. But then I felt a hand wrapped around my wrist, I gulped, but the brunet guy simply flashed me an assuring smile.
