Chapter 2: Hello

Y/n POV

I was just getting ready to go to bed when I heard a sudden, unexplainable noise. It was 11:00 at night and no one was awake. I would have said it was my cat but he was right beside me. I would have heard if someone was walking somewhere because I have great hearing. What was it? It sounded like something falling. Almost like..... A PERSON THAT FELL TO THE GROUND FROM THE AIR!!!? I quickly yet quietly got up from my bed to investigate. I didn't  see anything so I ignored it and went back to sleep.

I had a strange dream. Everything was chaos kinda. The voices around were chaos but the dream itself wasn't. I was seeing through someone's eyes. A baby I think because 'I' was being held. There was a beautiful woman holding me with a sad look. She was running. She said goodbye and cryed then I woke up. "What was that dream?" I said quietly, almost silently, to myself. I noticed that the sun was rising so I checked the time. It was 7:00 in the morning so I got up and got ready for school. My father had already left by now and my mother and older brother were still sleeping because b/n starts school later than I do. He's in highschool. I got ready way before the 55 minutes before I normally leave was done so I went on my phone for a bit. I don't wear makeup so I get ready quickly in the morning.

At 7:55, I started walking to school. It's about a 10-15 minute walk so I get to school around 8:05-8:10am. The bell that allows us to go up to our lockers and classes rings at 8:25 and the school day starts at 8:40 so I get some time to myself for a bit when I leave early. I was halfway to my school when I noticed something moving from the corner of my eye. I looked to ny left (the side with houses) to see a spider far in the distance. The spider looked creepy, weird and huge because it shouldn't be able to take up a whole window of a house I don't think. It had what looked like a skull or something on the back and it was yellow. It was creepy so I started running which I'm not good at. I'm a very slow runner. I'm not an athletic person. I made it to school 5 minutes quicker because if that but I was out of breath. I told Bff/n and 2Bff/n when they showed up at school. They didn't believe me until I got into direct details that were too odd to make up. They still only half believed me though.

Other than the spider incident, the school day was similar to yesterday. The same two songs stuck in my head, my humming them the whole day. Yep! School was normal. As I was walking home, I saw the spider again but right above me on the street light post. I didn't notice until I was almost under it and it came down to attack me. It almost did but then was shot down by something.

Link POV

"WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?" I yelled as Zelda explained. "She must be in danger then!" I said full of worry. "Link, please go to her world and bring her back here. Make sure nothing happens to her." Zelda said. I nodded and left. It was night and I was brought to a house. I fell and made a loud noise so I immediately left the house so that I wouldn't get misunderstood. I started wandering around until the afternoon around 2:30 when j was walking on a sidewalk and I saw a girl, around my age (13) about to get attacked by a skulletta (I think that's how you spell it). I shot the skulletta with my fairy bow. The girl stared at me with surprise in her eyes from the jump scare of the skulletta. The girl had beautiful long h/c hair and sparkling e/c eyes. She was beautiful. She was wearing (favourite spring outfit). I ran over to her. "Are you okay?" I asked and she nodded. "Thank you. What was that... Thing?" She said, pausing to think of what she could call the skulletta before saying the last word. "That's a skulletta." I said. "Okay............ So why did it attack me?" She said in a more 'normal' tone. "It attacks anyone if sees." I explained. She nodded her head. She then started to quietly hum a familiar tune. It was Zelda's lullaby!

Y/n POV

After the boy asked if I was okay and him explaining what that thing was, I started to quietly hum the second melody that was stuck in my head. I tried to be unheard but I could tell, because of the boy's face, that he could hear me. He looked shocked. "How do you know that song?" He asked. "I'm not sure. It's been stuck in my head for a while along with another melody." I said nervously. "Can you sing the other melody for me?" He asked. I nodded shyly and started humming the first melody. He seemed shocked. "I think you're the person I'm looking for." He said to me. I tilted my head to my right in confusion. "What?" I asked confused out of my mind.
