(Link x reader) The Legends of Y/n

Chapter 17: Nope nevermind, I didn't find it.

Y/n POV

Me and Link started heading back to the castle but it was far away. Link was gonna call Epona but he didn't have his ocarina. Then an idea appeared in my head. "I can calm Epona. Remember when we first met it was because I kept unknowingly calling Epona." I said. He nodded. I then started singing Epona's song. Epona came running over. Link got on and helped me up. We headed back to the castle and got there in no time. It was late so I went to sleep.

The next day was uneventful. I'm kinda glad. I'm tired of fighting. We just stayed in the castle the whole time and talked and played games on my phone. It was fun. But someone came to visit me and Zelda. They needed help for their daughter. She was starting to be depressed. The man said his daughter was around my age. I nodded my head and me and Zelda headed out to see his daughter. She was just a few weeks younger than me so she isn't 13 yet but will be in a few days.

I went up to her. She was crying. "Are you alright?" I asked kindly. She shook her head without looking up at me. I sat down next to her. "May you please tell me what's wrong?" I asked. She looked up. "Everything." She answered. I looked down. I know how she feels. I was depressed for a while before coming here. By that I mean for I think over a year. "Do you want to talk about it?" I asked. She nodded. "But I don't want anyone else hearing." She said. I nodded. "How about we bring you back to the castle and you can tell me." I suggested kindly. She nodded her head. We then headed back to the castle with Zelda.

We went to my room so that no one else would hear. "Everyone makes fun of me for looking different. She said. She doesn't look that different. She then looked at me. I noticed her eyes were violet. They were beautiful though. Her hair was long and brown but had purple near the bottom. She looked different but not bad. "They say that I should just go die. I'm always alone. No one likes me. I'm smart so everyone says that I have no life. They also make fun of me because I like girls I stead if boys even though I'm a girl." She explains.

I feel bad for her. I know what it's like to be bullied and be alone. "It's alright. They're all just jealous of you. I think you look amazing and I think that smart is beautiful. Believe me, I've been made fun of too when I was younger for being smart. The reality is, they're just jealous that they don't  know as much as you. It's okay to like girls too. I can't say I have experience with getting bullied for that but I know it's fine. I know girls that like other girls. They're some of the best people I know." I said. She looked at me and smiled.

"I feel better now." She said but I could tell she was still kinda upset. "How about you stay at the castle for tonight." I suggested. She looked at me. "Really?" She asked. I smiled and nodded. We headed down for dinner after. "She seems happier now." Said Zelda. "Um is it alright if she stays here for a bit? She gets bullied back where she lives so I think it would be best for her to have a break from that." Zelda nodded. I smiled. "Thank you Zelda." She smiled back. "We can get a guest room set up." She said.

"I don't want to sleep in a room alone." She said. I guess she's a bit scared. "We cab set up the two person guest room with the two beds and I can stay there with her." I suggested. She was like a friend to me now. "Sure." Said Zelda. "Thank you." The girl whispered to me. We sat down and ate. I sat in my usual spot and she sat on the other side of me than where Link sits. We then headed off to the guest room. We talked and played for a bit before going to bed. She stayed over for a week after that. We didn't do much but hang around the castle. We became good friends. Now I have a new best friend. I found out her name was Violet. He parents named her after the colour of her eyes.

I was bringing her back to her place when people around my age jumped put and blocked the way. Two girls and two boys. Violet his behind me. I guess they're her bullies. "Looks like you finally found a girlfriend. Is she as lame as you?" Said one of the girls. "First of all, no need to be jealous that she has friends. Second all, its you that's being lame. Trying to hurt people." I spoke up. She glared at me. "Don't make me laugh. I'm not one bit jealous. This little slut has no life. She even dyed her hair and eyes. She doesn't do anything bit trying to be smart." Said the same girl. "I wasn't being funny. And at least she has a brain." I countered.

This made the bullies mad. They all circled around me and tryed to beat me up. "Didn't your parents ever teach you to be nice to royalty?" I asked. "Don't make me laugh. Royalty isn't currently here." Said the other girl. "I guess you guys haven't beard yet huh. The second princess? Ring a bell?" I said. "Yeah we heard. She isn't here though." Said one of the boys. "Um hello. Who do you think I am?" I asked. They stopped. "Wait. You're the second princess?" The second boy asked. I nodded. "So then Violet is friends with a princess? She's cooler than I thought." Said one of the girls. Finally they realize that. I nodded. They all apologized and left.
